But you can use controllers on PC games...Well I haven't actually tried it with Nintendo controllers so I'm not certain but PS and Xbox controllers work perfectly on PC.

In addition to Xbox Gamepass so it wouldn't really appeal to most people in the Western markets. I mean, I cracked up when I saw the price - there's no way I'm pay that much money for such a limited experience. -
On the Xbox one that I gave to my cousin, I only had the browser installed. Why am I installing that many apps onto my console?

Gamers are suing Microsoft over Activision deal now
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
It seems that even Google is getting involved trying to influence the FTC to stop this deal from going through and it's crazy because nobody says anything when Google is out here buying out all their competitors. -
Key talent behind Forza franchise leave to start their own AAA studio
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I'm just wondering how Forza games will be going forward. I hope there isn't a massive drop-off in terms of quality in the next Forza game. As for Forza Horizon 5, I 100% agree with you that the game feels big and soulless. It's much more fun with friends but it still does have that deserted town feel. -
Neil Druckmann Says His Next Game Is "Structured More Like A TV Show"

That's actually a valid point - It could be formatted like Manhunt from the early 90's. Possibly with a narrator as well? -

Who knows?! It could possibly be made but you'd have to pitch your idea to a Modder and see if they'd be interested. -

Ubisoft and others have been feeling the results of repeatedly making poor decisions over the past decade and now they're having to cancel lots of upcoming titles and laying off staff after suffering huge losses. -
It happened some years ago actually. I remembered hearing about it.

It's perfectly understandable.

That's pretty sad - I heard that Macaws in general are tough to re-house as they get so attached to a particular person and won't accept anyone else.

It depends on the region of Canada, British Colombia speaks Spanish and I think the other region is French? and the other English. I don't fully remember the story as I left there many years ago and haven't returned.

I've seen Americans in Cuba, some who go there all the time but I haven't really seen any tension. It's just that they'll try to rip off Americans because they tend to think you lot are rich (seen this almost everywhere I go).

What is the longest story line game you have ever played?
killamch89 replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
I'd say it's Witcher 3 for me and with the two DLCs, you have quite a bit of content to cover but it's totally worth it. -
What do you think is the worst pay to win video game?
killamch89 replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
Most Mobile games are huge offenders - I remember we discussed a story on some guy that spent $150,000 on a single mobile game. A good number of us here have said it over the years that mobile games have the most aggressive monetization systems but there's hardly a peep about it in the media. -
How long do you feel Rainbow Six Siege has left?
killamch89 replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
Not sure to be honest because the game is still popular although it has fallen off in recent years. I don't think it's anywhere near reaching its end - I can see it surviving for another 5 years at least unless Ubisoft messes it up which is still a possibility. -
It's incredibly fun to play with friends and it takes teamwork to successfully survive (most of you anyways). I think it's harder to be the killer in this game as the victims have so many ways of disrupting anything you're trying to do and usually, at least one of them escapes.

Have you played the Halo Infinite campaign? What are your thoughts?
killamch89 replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
I didn't even finish it - I thought it was trash if I'm being honest. Very lackluster and unoriginal. -
I do play it at least a couple of times a week. It's probably one of the most fun and casual games you can just log in and start playing without any issues at all. Very fun game and the events are pretty great too.
-
I haven't played it since about 2010 and I don't think I'll ever look back either with how Activision has been treating it. The game has incredible lore but Activision have turned it into a massive cash-grab.

If you could make any movie a video game, what would it be?
killamch89 replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
Hmmm...This is a tough one - Are we talking something that'd be successful? It we're talking something that'd likely succeed, I'd say something like Saw 2 or the Saw series. -
Which game can you go back to over and over again and not get tired of?

Do you feel Apex Legends could be a game that dies soon?
killamch89 replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
Not immediately, but from what I'm hearing, it's the typical thing with EA games where after a while they just stop putting out updates and allow the game to reach to deplorable state and then try to correct it, breaking more stuff in the process and it's a never-ending cycle. -
What has been your favorite Call of Duty map to date?
killamch89 replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
Nuketown is a great call and I also liked Raid for Black Ops 2 which was a huge mansion. I also liked the Jungle in the original Black Ops because of its layout and it increased your paranoia with every step you took.
