  1. Have been playing it since release and I still do play it quite frequently especially GTA online and despite its issues, I do like playing it on PC. The only thing I can say is that I have started to play in more private lobbies with friends to avoid the hackers and toxic people in-game.
  2. No, I have never done it before - like others here, it's crossed my mind but then I realized how much work I'd have to put into it and I never went any further with it. Maybe someday in the future I could be inspired to.
  3. I played it when it came out and let me tell you, I'm a Halo fan and I lost interest in it so quickly. Halo Infinite is the most overhyped and underwhelming of the series. An utter disappointment - where do I begin? The game is repetitive, plagued with bugs and all kinds of other issues at launch and overall, it's just not fun. That's the first Halo game I've ever said that about - it's mediocre at best.
  4. I also tend to watch some of these videos when I'm interested in certain games and to see if I'd like it.
  5. To add to these: An ergonomic gaming keyboard Wireless Mouse (Logitech/Razer) Comfortable wired/wireless gaming headsets (HyperX) A snack stand to safely hold your drink/food so that it doesn't spill all over your setup.
  6. Don't forget Gamergate as well with gamers facing off against gaming media which basically turned into a shit slinging contest which never benefited any parties involved.
  7. Based on stories from actual game testers, it's actually pretty stressing because they have to met certain deadlines and the contracts tend to be very performance based so the one who highlights the most issues tends to make far more. In addition to that, game testers are deemed dispensable so it's not a certainty that you'll hold that position for a prolonged period of time.
  8. So true - I was also looking forward to it but when my friend showed me how poor the game was in Beta, I changed my mind. I also have always liked Battlefield but Battlefield V and 2042 have been mega disappointments.
  9. You're right - most modern games lack quality content and an engaging story/plot to keep most gamers entertained. Callisto Protocol is one that comes to mind with the amount of hype and it's a total disappointment. I mean, it wasn't as buggy as say Cyberpunk but the story is so lackluster. The gameplay has a few great elements but there's nothing else to it and the budget for this game is 160m?!
  10. Totally agree - I never really purchased skins in the first place especially if they serve no other purpose other than to modify your character's appearance and nothing else.
  11. Yeah, I also try to have a lot of backup strategies for likely scenarios that I may encounter when playing a particular game.
  12. Wait - you played it in VR? How'd you manage not run into the wall or something. I don't think I could handle it in VR at all - the normal game is terrifying enough.
  13. I tried it on Wifi while on the road and it's really impractical unless the connection is really strong. I was using it on my Samsung S8+ Tablet a few months back and it was a horrible experience.
  14. There's also Among Us but the gameplay gets pretty repetitive after a month or so. I wouldn't mind the whole boat load of Battle Royale games if they were all extremely unique but they're just poor imitations of Fortnite.
  15. Yeah, you right - the shooting mechanics were kinda wonky and in addition to that you couldn't hide behind cover and shoot which made the first stage a lot harder as there wasn't anywhere on that pier to really hide.
  16. Burnout Paradise was one of my favorite games in the mid to late 2000's especially on PS2.
  17. And to top it all off, it had to be EA who has pioneered this whole strategy. How greedy can you get?
  18. Skyrim God Of War Need For Speed: Most Wanted WWE Smackdown vs Raw Devil May Cry 5 Final Fantasy 8 Castlevania SOTN
  19. Midnight Club is a great shout and Pokemon as well. I used to play it all the time when I was a kid up until my late teens.
  20. Devil May Cry Metal Gear Solid Final Fantasy 8 Skyrim Need For Speed: Most Wanted Castlevania SOTN Ratchet & Clank God Of War (original) SSX Tricky Burnout Fight Night Champion
  21. That game quickly made me distrust all statues I see in-game as they kept constantly moving and peeking at you around corners. That is pretty genius how the game developers managed to make a normally inanimate object (the statue) so terrifying. I swear it'll take me some time before I ever try to replay that game.
  22. I had Xbox Gamepass for a few months and I'll just say that trying to play it on the go is a hassle as internet speeds have to be consistent for you to enjoy it on the road.
  23. Resident Evil 4 and Bloodborne are two great choices for this list just because of the circumstances you find yourself in each game. Those villagers are vicious and they attack in numbers while you have limited ammo and the bosses and enemies in the first level of Bloodborne are overwhelming in every sense.
  24. I mean, they have been around for many years now and the trend hasn't shown any signs of slowing down but I have observed that many of these games are basically poor imitations of Fortnite/ COD Warzone/ PUBG. I'd like to see some of these games with more unique mechanics.
  25. I agree but it'll take a while before the effects of unionization will have any sort of impact and it has to be something widespread and mandatory. Not an optional thing for certain companies.
