Honestly, It's between three or four games and that'd be Black Myth Wukong, Dragonball Sparking Zero, Astro Bot and The Elden Ring DLC: Endtree.

What Game Do You Think Has the Best NPC Interactions?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
I'd have to agree. I think The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim offers some of the most memorable NPCs. The way characters have specific reactions based on your actions in the world is fun, and the variety of personalities gives the game a living, breathing feel. Other contenders are The Witcher 3 and Disco Elysium. -
While Nintendo has the experience and IPs to dominate handhelds, I wouldn’t underestimate Sony or Microsoft. The PSP and Vita were ahead of their time in many ways, and Xbox could leverage Game Pass for a truly unique handheld experience. If Sony integrates their PS5 ecosystem into a handheld or if Microsoft creates a device built for cloud gaming, they might carve out their own niches instead of directly competing with Nintendo.

Do you think we’ll ever see fully immersive, holographic games?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
I agree. Who knows? Technological development may accelerate rapidly with the continuous development of AI and we probably get the early prototypes like 20 years from now. -
Should Video Game Music Be More Recognized in the Music Industry?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
And some of them are very good such as Vergil's theme from DMC 5: Bury The Light. I'd go as far as to say it's probably the best videogame theme song I've ever heard. -
For me, it’s all about the classics like Night Trap and Phantasmagoria. Those games really captured the cheesy, campy charm of FMV in its early days. Even though the gameplay wasn’t always the strongest, the over-the-top acting and production values made them unforgettable.

Series where you eventually played the older instalments?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
For me, it was the Elder Scrolls series. I started with Oblivion like many people, but then curiosity got the better of me, and I went back to try Morrowind and Daggerfall. While they don’t have the same polish, the world-building and depth in those games blew me away. -
FMV faded partly because it often felt more like watching a movie than playing a game, which clashed with the growing desire for interactivity in gaming. That said, modern FMV titles like Her Story and Telling Lies show how the format can thrive when paired with strong storytelling and meaningful player choices. Maybe it’s more about finding the right balance between interactivity and narrative.

Unpopular characters in games that you actually like?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I actually really like Preston Garvey from Fallout 4. Sure, he’s always giving you settlement tasks, but I appreciated his optimism in such a bleak world. Plus, it gave me a sense of purpose as I wandered the wasteland. -
You might enjoy 'Indie Game: The Movie.' It dives into the struggles and triumphs of independent game developers like those behind Super Meat Boy and Fez. It's really inspiring and shows a more personal side of game development.

What games launched well, but are now not as popular?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
LawBreakers launched with a unique gameplay style and solid mechanics, but it failed to maintain its audience due to poor marketing, stiff competition from games like Overwatch, and a lack of clear identity. -
Totally agree. A John Wick action game would be insane. Imagine something in the style of Max Payne or Sifu, with intense gun-fu combat and slick choreography. They could even work in elements like preparing for missions and managing limited resources, kind of like how John Wick operates in the movies.

Mine has to be playing the final level of Halo 3 with a friend. The rush of driving the Warthog through explosions as the world crumbled around us was just epic. It’s my favorite because it felt like a perfect mix of action and co-op fun. It’s something we still laugh about to this day.

Do you prefer noise or silence on pause menus?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I can see why ambient noise works for immersion, but I actually prefer silence in pause menus. It gives me a mental break from the game, especially in high-stress moments like boss fights or horror games. It’s almost like a breather before I dive back in. -

Played some Skyrim and came up with a mad scientist build. I've been trying to build a Sheogorath build for ages! And I finally have one.

Well, it was leaked a while back that the RE9 announcement would be in December so all I can say is finally! Also, It's great to hear that Naughty Dog has a new game in development.

Wall-mounted setups for gaming PCs and monitors have been gaining popularity for their clean, minimalist look and space-saving design. But are they worth it? Do the aesthetics outweigh the potential hassle of cable management and accessibility? If you’ve gone this route, what’s your experience been like? Are there specific challenges or benefits that others should know about?
