Can't wait to play this! It looks amazing! I'm going to be freezing NPCs and shattering them into little pieces.

Considering this is from Telltale games, this will probably turn out to be an extremely good game. Let's see where this one goes.

There's a name I haven't seen in ages! I remember play Turok on the Nintendo 64. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was a pretty underrated game but I'm glad to see it back at last. The game looks promising with this more futuristic take.

The only issue I had with this was that Ciri's bloodline literally makes her unable to pass the trials to become a Witcher. I would've been okay with it if they made a new character be the Witcher and made Ciri be the sorcerer because she's one of the few able to use Elder Blood Magic and give you access to two characters in the story. Geralt has retired as a Witcher from the previous game so the outrage about him retiring is actually stupid.

killamch89 replied to Heatman's topic in General Chat
If I remember correctly, my 40+ was like 42 - 46 hours or somewhere in-between because I remembered that I had fallen asleep just shy of the 48 hours. -
Would You Prefer Working Abroad or Studying Abroad for a Year?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
It's more of a hypothetical situation where it was feasible for you to do either one, which one would you prefer? -
The only time anyone thinks your face is acceptable is during Halloween.

Honestly, I don't have any and even the normal ones like slight fear of height went away with age.

I also don't allow smoking in mine either. Unless that smoke is coming from me cooking.

So, if you didn't know, Jake Paul took home 40m, Mike Tyson took home 20m and Netflix got a huge amount views so it was a win-win for everybody else outside of the spectators.

Is the Golden Age of Sports Behind Us or Still to Come?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Sports
I'd have to agree. Michael Jordan, Michael Schumacher, Jeff Gordon, Muhammad Ali - sports will never have such impactful legends like these again. -
What sports do you think are still underrated by mainstream audiences?

Battlebots in the 2000s was my favorite era. I used to love Robot wars back then as well. The creativity to make these machines functional and the skill to use them is definitely overlooked. -
What’s Your Opinion on Competitive Eating as a Sport?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Sports
I've participated in an eating competition once and that was when I was hungry and had lost all my money as a kid. I've never been happier to guzzle down so much chicken at once. -
With the rapid advancement of technologies like AI, blockchain, and biotechnology, how can we ensure these innovations benefit society as a whole? What steps should governments, companies, and individuals take to prevent misuse or exploitation? Is regulation the key, or should we focus on public awareness and ethical development?

With increasing concerns about climate change, electric vehicles (EVs) are often hailed as a key solution for reducing emissions. But are they really the best option? While EVs produce no tailpipe emissions, their overall environmental impact depends on factors like battery production, energy sources, and recycling. Are there other alternatives, such as hydrogen or biofuels, that might be more sustainable in the long run?

With the rapid advancements in AI, VR, and interactive storytelling, could we eventually reach a point where people can create fully immersive, personalized movies? Imagine a world where the plot, characters, and visuals are tailored to your preferences, emotions, and past experiences. How realistic do you think this is, and what technology would need to evolve for this to happen? What impact would it have on filmmaking, entertainment, and storytelling?

With the rapid advancements in biotechnology, how do we ensure it's not misused or applied irresponsibly? Whether it’s genetic manipulation, biohacking, or unethical medical practices, the potential for harm is real. What steps should be taken by governments, researchers, and society to create strong ethical standards and regulatory frameworks? How can we balance innovation with caution?

With rapid advancements in biotechnology, the cosmetics industry seems poised for a major shift. From lab-grown ingredients like collagen to biotechnologically produced active compounds, how might biotech influence product development, sustainability, and skincare effectiveness? Will we see more personalized products, or even plant-based alternatives? What are the potential ethical concerns, and how could biotech shape beauty standards in the years to come?

I wish I could say I have but honestly, it'd become exhausting having to do this because I play lots of games almost every day.

I remember hearing about the button mashing for good luck one, too. Another common superstition I’ve encountered is that if you turn the console off in a certain way (like holding down the power button for a few seconds), it prevents it from glitching in future sessions. People would even say it helps with ‘avoiding crashes.

I can't really think of any outside of maybe Minecraft. I mean, I played it once but I haven't touched since that time. Otherwise, I've played pretty much all the biggest games before in one capacity or another.

I definitely think good games can be therapeutic. For me, they offer a great escape when life gets stressful. It’s not just about distractions - some games let you explore different emotional landscapes or work through complex situations, which can be really calming and even help with problem-solving in real life.

I think both procedural generation and hand-crafted levels have their merits, depending on what the game is aiming for. Procedural generation offers incredible replayability - games like No Man’s Sky or Minecraft are great examples where the world feels endlessly fresh because no two playthroughs are the same. That said, I do have a soft spot for hand-crafted levels, especially when a game has a strong narrative or atmosphere, like The Last of Us or Hollow Knight. These worlds feel so thoughtfully designed and layered with detail that it pulls me deeper into the story. If I had to choose, I’d lean more toward hand-crafted for its storytelling, but procedural generation wins when I want endless variety and exploration.
