  1. The evidence is already there. Ruben Amorim has been saying the same exact thing. Most of those players that Ten Hag bought are absolute garbage and it'll have to be a huge clearout at United over the next few seasons to get them back to where they need to be.
  2. Facts. I've found it way easier to pay for certain services with Bitcoin or Ethereum than using the traditional bank system.
  3. Personally, I haven’t been fully convinced by smart home tech yet. While I like the idea of automation, I’ve found that some devices are more of a hassle than they’re worth. For example, my smart thermostat doesn’t always recognize when I’m home. Plus, there’s always a nagging concern about privacy and data security and that's why I haven't gotten something like the Amazon Echo yet. That said, I can see the potential if the technology continues to improve.
  4. As messed up as Twitter is and with all the braindead people on there at the moment, I still prefer to use that.
  5. Oh, absolutely. I remember playing Resident Evil 4 for the first time and going into a boss fight with almost no ammo. I had to restart from an earlier save because I just couldn’t get through it. It taught me to be way more careful with resource management in survival horror games.
  6. Have you tried Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice? It’s all about patience and timing during combat. You can’t just hack and slash - reading enemy movements and waiting for the perfect moment to deflect or strike is key.
  7. The stamina system in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild comes to mind. While the game is breathtaking and innovative, the stamina mechanic can feel punishing at times, especially early on when you're limited. It creates moments of frustration when you can’t climb a wall or cross a body of water, breaking the flow of exploration in an otherwise fantastic game.
  8. You raise some great points, but I’m not sure I’d agree completely. Rockstar’s games are undeniably high-quality, but there have been controversies about how they treat employees during development. While their games do take years to produce, stories of crunch and long working hours have surfaced, especially during RDR2's release. That aside, their ability to innovate and dominate with massive franchises is unmatched.
  9. Tetris. Imagine someone trying to remake it with a cinematic story mode, 4K graphics, and microtransactions for different block skins. Some games just don’t need any more attention.
  10. I think you're absolutely right that the degree of player agency plays a big role here. In games where the player has limited control over a character's actions, guilt-tripping the player feels misplaced. It’s more about aligning with the character’s emotional arc rather than imposing guilt on the player. However, I think players might feel guilt-tripped when games force actions that conflict with their personal values or when moral consequences are heavily emphasized without clear alternatives. It’s like the game is saying, 'You should feel bad for what happened,' even though it wasn’t entirely the player’s decision.
  11. Absolutely A game based on The Boys could be incredible, especially if it captured the gritty, dark humor and chaotic action of the show. Imagine an open-world sandbox RPG where you can choose to play as a member of The Seven or one of the vigilantes, each with branching storylines and moral choices. The gore and over-the-top fights would make it so unique.
  12. Same here with Felicia Day. I knew her first from her work on Dragon Age: Redemption and her voice in Fallout: New Vegas before I found out she was such a big name in The Guild and other projects. Gaming tends to introduce me to people before I realize how famous they actually are.
  13. Yes, my habits shifted a lot. Before the pandemic, gaming was more solo for me, but during lockdown, I got into co-op and multiplayer games to stay connected with friends. It was like our version of hanging out.
  14. Personally, I'm not really boycotting any company but I've actively stopped buying games from companies like Ubisoft and EA because the quality of them are pretty subpar and not worth my money.
  15. Played some Sparking Zero yesterday and built a GT team featuring Baby Vegeta and Goku and Vegeta from GT. Won a lot of matches with that new team.
  16. Whether it’s soothing tunes to calm anxiety or high-energy beats to boost mood, what’s your experience? Do you think music is a tool for improving mental health, or is it just a temporary distraction?
