  1. All you have to do is enjoy the experience. Yes, it'll be a bit terrifying but it's just a game.
  2. The fast-paced action and constant shooting looks pretty fun. Also, it looks like timing is a big part of this game's mechanics. It seems like a dope game in my opinion.
  3. For me, It really depends on my mood. Sometimes I love the intensity - managing resources, surviving against the odds, and feeling that rush when I barely make it out alive. Other times, though, I just want something more relaxing, like a survival game with a creative or peaceful mode. I think the best games strike a balance where you can customize the experience to fit how you’re feeling.
  4. I think both types have their merits, but I personally lean toward psychological horror as well. The fear that comes from questioning your own perception, like in Silent Hill 2 or Amnesia: The Dark Descent, tends to stick with me longer than a quick monster jump scare. That said, well-executed monster-based horror like Resident Evil or Dead Space can still deliver a unique sense of dread, especially when the creatures are grotesque and well-designed. To me, psychological horror lingers in the mind, while monster horror gets your heart racing.
  5. It really felt like a game ahead of its time. The combination of the dreamlike visuals, that soaring sense of flight, and the soundtrack made it feel almost magical. On the Sega Saturn, it was definitely one of the standout titles, and even now I think its uniqueness still shines. Sure, the controls can feel a little dated by today’s standards, but there’s a charm to it that’s hard to replicate. It’s one of those games that really feels like a dream
  6. That's a fantastic racing gaming in its own right but my pick is Sega Rally Championship. It definitely deserves more love. Its handling felt revolutionary at the time - adapting to different surfaces like gravel and tarmac was a game-changer. It’s one of those games where the more you played, the better you understood its subtle mechanics. A true masterpiece for anyone who values technical racing.
  7. Facts. I think the Shining Force series definitely holds a special place in tactical RPG history, especially for its accessibility compared to other tactical games of its time. The mix of light storytelling, colorful characters, and easy-to-grasp gameplay made it stand out. For me, Shining Force II is the highlight of the series. The balance between exploration and tactical combat felt perfect, and the cast of characters like Bowie, Sarah, and Jaha still feels memorable today. While it may lack some depth compared to modern tactical RPGs like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics, its charm and nostalgic appeal make it timeless.
  8. I was looking at a Nintendo WII U the other day and they're like $ 250 - 300 minimum. Around the same price as a new Switch.
  9. Agreed. Zaxxon’s graphics blew my mind as a kid. That pseudo-3D perspective was unlike anything I’d seen before, and it added a real sense of depth that made the gameplay feel futuristic. Sure, it was tricky to gauge movement at first, but that challenge was part of what kept me coming back. Sega definitely set a new bar for immersion with Zaxxon.
  10. Personally, I have to go with The House of the Dead 2 on the Sega Dreamcast. While it may not have the deep narrative of something like Resident Evil, the arcade-style light-gun gameplay combined with its campy horror vibes makes it a standout. It’s pure, fast-paced fun with just enough creepiness to leave an impression. Plus, it was one of the best ports for home consoles back in the day.
  11. My choice too. It nails every aspect I love about gaming - tight gameplay, beautiful hand-drawn art, and an atmospheric world dripping with lore. Exploring Hallownest feels both haunting and rewarding, and the challenge of its combat and bosses always kept me engaged without feeling unfair. For me, it’s a masterclass in how indies can rival (and even surpass) big-budget titles.
  12. I completely get that. "Life is Strange" really captures the weight of our choices in a unique way. It makes you reflect on your relationships and how fragile they can be.
  13. Man, I miss couch co-op too! I used to spend hours with friends playing GoldenEye 007 and Mario Kart 64. It’s wild how those shared-screen experiences stick with you. D
  14. That's true. The Last Of Us was a true masterpiece.

    Anime

I must say that the Bleach Thousand Year Blood War has hands down been the best anime of the past three years and it's not even close. The visuals! Can we talk about that?! As a massive Bleach fan, it feels so good to get this whole arc being animated. I don't think there has been a really bad episode.
  16. Played some Pokemon Ultra Moon on my Modded Nintendo 3DS and I can't say enough good things about this modded 3DS or the game for that matter.
  17. I can't remember the name of that Power Rangers game on SNES but this is bringing back the nostalgia. Honestly, I don't think I'll be getting this as I'm not that interested in anything Power Rangers related anymore.
  18. Do you prefer the classic sounds of artists like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton, or are you more into the modern country style with artists like Luke Bryan or Kacey Musgraves? What do you think has changed the most about country music over the years? Is there room for both styles, or do you think one represents the true heart of the genre?
