Did your school/college offer Film Class?
killamch89 replied to melanie_marie27's topic in Movies & TV
Not really but they did have films during history/science classes during high school but it was usually the boring stuff with the narrator sounding as bored as I was watching those films. Honestly, I fell asleep midway through most of them. -
Wayne's World (1992) - 8/10

I was born in 89 and that's what I grew up listening to as well - Backstreet boys, Janet Jackson.

Songs that quickly make you change the channel
killamch89 replied to melanie_marie27's topic in Music
This sounds an awful lot like modern music - they're just singing/mumbling a whole lot of nonsense. If you're going to scream into the mic at least it should make sense. -
Playing some Metroid Fusion on my GBA emulator - Still one of my favorite Metroid games of all time.

Dolphin Emulator is one of the best around and it gets constant updates. Duckstation which is a PS1 emulator can also be setup on android.

Any new FPS games similar to what COD and Fortnite offers on Mobile?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Mobile
I didn't even know Splitgate was on Mobile to be fair. I'll have to go check it out to see what it's like. -
It happens all the time with accessories but I think most of us were expecting Sony to add their personal touch to it and not just sell us this recolored generic mobile gaming controller.

Most of them are scams/rip-offs, trust no advertisment you see especially when playing mobile games.

Honestly, I have the Samsung Health App on both my phone and smartwatch but I never use it. I just don't need all that information...

If you could provide us with a budget, I'm sure we can provide you with some recommendations. The brand is a factor but for cheaper models, it tends to not matter as much. My earlier recommendations were for Gaming Laptops/High-End Laptops that were in $1000+ category.

The caveats of modern tech - they're multifunctional and at times, overtly complicated though surprisingly I seemingly have adjusted pretty well to modern tech.

Does anyone still read the newspaper?
killamch89 replied to melanie_marie27's topic in Technology & Gadgets
Occasionally, yes - the digital version that is. I haven't bought a physical newspaper in at least two years. -
Personally, I don't mind upgrading but the driver support for essential software I use needs to be there first.

What do you prefer a computer or a mobile phone?
killamch89 replied to Matan_z's topic in Technology & Gadgets
For all the improvements in smartphones over the past decade, they are still nowhere near performing at the levels of even a Chromebook so there's no way a smartphone could overtake a PC in terms of usefulness for me. -
How long do SD Cards last? Can I re-use older ones?
killamch89 replied to Gonassis's topic in Technology & Gadgets
Even though they may be technically compatible, the read and write speeds may vary depending on the SD card manufacturer. Sandisk and Samsung SD cards tend to be very quick and reliable. You probably should look into a 512 GB micro SD card for something like a Steam Deck but make sure you buy it from a reputable source and not off Ebay or Amazon because there's lots of counterfeit products on those sites nowadays. -
Does anybody save their old iPhone (s) ?
killamch89 replied to melanie_marie27's topic in Technology & Gadgets
Most of the Apple Products I've owned over the years have all been sold but the difference is mine were still in good working condition. Sometimes, the timing may be right to change devices and I just took those opportunities. That being said, I haven't owned an Iphone since the Iphone X which my brother gave me and I sold it after two years. -
My smartphone would be first, my gaming laptop would be second and Ipad would be third although my Switch could overtake it very soon.

If I'm not mistaken, it's supposed to be expanded lore of the universe and not just a video game adaptation. I also agree that the trailer looks absolutely amazing.

Did you buy it or was it the reviews that you saw?

Netflix should really start to release bigger/triple A games
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
Now that makes me less optimistic...He worked for EA and he helped with live service games? I guess we should lower our expectations.
