Fast X - 7.5/10

Played some Mortal Kombat one. I was trying out Homelander and honestly, Omni Man is way better. His combos feel smoother and more fun to pull off than Homelander's.

Games where there are no “good guys” to back?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Not just them, every single faction always have some kind of shady practices and responsible for some of the horrible things going on in Skyrim. -
Some people are really ignorant of that fact. It's almost like the people who mistake animes for cartoons when the two of them aren't close to being the same thing. The only things they have in common is that they're both animated and they take place in fantasy worlds.

It's really good - trust me. It has eight episodes and they're just filled with good action, storytelling and is really immersive. As someone who grew up play Fallout games, this is one of the best adaptations I can remember of a gaming series into a tv show.

They've reused the same formula in so many sequels that it's become quite stale. It always begin with them experiment on some new Dinosaur and it gets free, causes havoc and kills most of the cast. Rinse and repeat - Literally every Jurassic park.

Hmmm - that's a good question. I created a bard that literally brainwashed my enemies to fight each other to the death. It was pretty hilarious because I didn't have one damaging spell or weapon and yet almost every NPC was fighting the other. There was also another one where I created a character who was a warlock that could control souls so I could do things like temporarily take on the appearance of certain NPCs, took racial abilities from dead enemies and bestow them onto my summons and absorb the souls of all the people that die around my character becoming much more powerful. I also ended up getting my own pocket realm where I could summon Daedra from my realm by opening an Oblivion gate. It was a crazy build.

Character creation in games where you never see your character
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
You can see your characters in-game. They're literally always in third-person unless you choose to change the camera view. I should know because I had been playing Fallout 4 since release up until Bethesda updated the game more recently and broke almost every mod in my load order. I can't be bothered to start over so I'm on hiatus until Bethesda sorts out their game. -
What old game genre do you want to make a comeback?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Have you ever played the Broken Sword series? It's one of the best with an engaging story line and the plot twists are often mind-boggling. -
I mod it all the time and it has thousands of mods so you can create a unique experience every playthrough. I've yet to run out of ideas for new character builds - I even have new Druid and lightning samurai builds coming up.

Favorite and least favorite video game mission types?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Escort missions are definitely my least favorite to do. Another one is having to follow an NPC around - why is it that they choose to run/move so slowly? The part that I hate is when the get stuck on something along the way. -
Nowadays, I don't really snack all that much around my gaming setup. Up to a couple of years ago, I'd have a tray filled with snacks to one side and a few drinks in another tray. However, I've kind of started to cut back on the amount of snacks and drinks that I consume. In addition to that, when it comes time to clean the area, it does take a bit of work.

It's like a mix between Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch. Mostly Overwatch though as even some of the abilities look like carbon copy of certain Overwatch characters.

The gameplay itself is fun. It's just that it's also riddled with bugs after a certain point and unfinished content. Shame too as the early part of the game was really promising.

You should play this with your kids. Trust me, you'll all have loads of fun. It takes a lot of great teamwork to reach really far in this game. Everyone has to be on the same page or else you won't get very far.

I stopped playing Warframe like 10 years ago. I used to play it somewhat regularly in the early 2010s when it just came out but over time, it just became this massive cashgrab and I lost interest in it.
-
What was it like? Because I've played most of the Wii games but I never thought it'd keep my interest long enough and that's why I didn't get it at the time.

At this point, I think they're just collectibles which they were always going to be over time. They'll probably go for a lot of money in 5-10 years time so you should probably hold on to them.
