Despite the vast differences in cultures and eras, certain concepts and values seem to persist universally. What are some examples of these timeless truths? Why do you think they endure regardless of societal changes and advancements? Is it due to human nature, fundamental needs, or something else entirely?

I've always heard the saying "knowledge is power," but I'm curious about how true this really is. In what ways has knowledge empowered you personally or professionally? Do you think there are situations where knowledge isn't enough or where it can even be a disadvantage?

If I don't have any advil, I usually find that Ginger tea also helps a lot.

Same here except mine had sliced turkey in it. One of my favorites to have at breakfast.

Same here - lost power for about 40 hours. In other parts of my country, some still haven't gotten any back either. Which country do you live in?

Do you think Manchester United will still sack Ten Hag?

But even when those players were fit and playing, the quality of the football never really improved that much. -
Who are you backing to win the UEFA Champions League final?

I've seen this movie many times over with Borussia Dortmund. Just think back to last season when they could've won the Bundesliga if they'd just won their last match. Instead they drew with some team that was already relegated. -
It's true - English referees are absolutely incompetent. If you regularly watch the Premier League, some of the decisions they make are scandalous.

Gareth Southgate (England) Roberto Martinez (Portugal) Domenico Tedesco (Belgium)

Unfortunately, it'll never happen with Southgate in charge. He's just too negative of a coach and is tactically inept.

As I said before the tournament even started, I though Argentina was going to win it and I very much turned out to be right. Colombia had lots of chances but they squandered most of them and paid the price in extra time.

Elektra (2005) - 9/10

This fight in the manga was already epic but to see it finally animated, they really outdone themselves here.

Jumped into some Alien Isolation again after somewhat of a long break but I modded it with multiple Xenomorph. It makes the game several times harder and more scary.

Games where there are no “good guys” to back?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
To be honest, Skyrim. The Imperial and The Stormcloaks are both awful for different reasons. The Imperials are suffering from the classic been in power so long that they became corrupt over time and having the Thalmor dictate their every action makes it even worse. The Stormcloaks on the other hand are extremely racist and believe that Skyrim belongs to only them. -
Games where you only choose to use 1-2 weapons?

In prior Hitman games, I always found myself using his silverballers and a particular sniper rifle (can't remember the name at the moment but it's extremely powerful and could be silenced). -
In some instances, I do get silly mods. Like I used to Thomas The Tank Engine Mod for the original Skyrim which replaced all the dragons with Thomas The Tank Engine.

What old game genre do you want to make a comeback?

I actually agree - I love point and click games like the Broken Sword series with a fantastic story.
