  1. Sterling is a bit iffy for me and the reason being that Chelsea doesn't create nearly as many chances for their forward players as Man City does. Darwin Nunez is also quite raw in my opinion so let's so how he improves this season.
  2. To be honest, I used to watch Formula one because of my dad and Micheal Schumacher was his favorite driver growing up. I haven't watched it in years either and the same thing with Nascar.
  3. I'm not even a Barca fan and I was furious! All they did the whole match was park the bus and counter attack and Torres of all people stepped up to win it for them. Torres who had been terrible the whole season suddenly turns and produces a miracle.
  4. Trust me, Ronaldinho always got me up off my seat especially with some of the skills he pulled off like the time he passed the ball with his back. Like, how did he even come up with that?
  5. That's just like me XD or at least when I was younger. I've had many a nasty fall with a few broken bones but after I'm fully healed, that's me going even faster down the mountain!
  6. I also agree or they should roll off the pitch instead of staying on it and holding up time but the refs won't address it so what are we to do.
  7. Yeah but you have to keep in mind that Pique is no longer at the peak of his powers either. He's a very good role model and leader but Barca needs younger and better defenders to truly make them a force again.
  8. Every player in City's team is expected to track back and help defend so there's no way Pep would want Messi and that's why Pep passed up on signing him last summer when he had the opportunity.
  9. Quite the contrary, I do like Ronaldo but at the end of the day, football is a team sport and if one player isn't willing to stay and fight, they need to leave. Did you see what Pep did with Ferran Torres, he got rid of him immediately the minute it was clear to Pep he wasn't fully committed.
  10. I played cricket as a child for my prep school and it used to bore the hell out of me. I mean I was good at batting and bowling but the sport just never excited me.
  11. My preferred foot is left also but I usually play on the right wing as I do like to cut in and shoot. The best thing about it is that I can cross, pass, shoot and dribble with my right foot almost as well as with my left so it makes me very unpredictable. I can play every attacking position, in central midfield and even as a wingback because I have huge amounts of stamina and love bombing up and down the flank.
  12. It's kinda funny to pass by betting shops and see people cursing because they lost money betting on their team and it was money for some other important reason such as pay a bill and in my mind I'm like, why would you even do that?
  13. The thing is Mourinho has been proven right in the end because the same players are partially responsible for the condition which Man United is in. I'm not Mou's biggest fan but a lot of what he says tends to come to pass somewhere down the line because those same Man United players threw Ole under the bus as well.
  14. I love their style of football although it does tend to be very oppressive to opposition teams. I mean they have 80+% possession every match - it's not even much of a match at that point. It's more of a one-sided slaughter 🤣
  15. There are various examples of this such as Pep being a great player for Barca and then becoming the coach. Zidane for Madrid as well.
  16. Trust me, he's the most entertaining thing about watching Man United. He even headbutted Ronaldo and caught Pogba in the face with his foot. and
  17. I don't want Fifa to touch anything because all they're doing is ruining the game with some of their ridiculous suggestions.
  18. Yep lol and then Mike also threatened to eat his kids as well. Mike Tyson was one crazy bastard in the ring - I used to love watching his fights growing up.
  19. The whole De Jong thing is a charade because they're not carrying De Jong with them on Pre season. He's being forced out of the club because he doesn't want to take a pay cut but Laporta would weaken Barca's stance by saying publicly that he wanted him gone.
  20. I agree. However, if he did win it with France, He'd definitely have to get it.
  21. That's true - he thought it was all over with 5 minutes remaining but with Real Madrid, you can't ever count them out and Pep got a reminder of who he was up against.
  22. That's not the only incident, even refs like Mark Clattenburg admitted to being biased towards Man United over the years. You can even check out the video here:
  23. To be fair, he should've turned down going back to Man United the second time because they were never going to build a team around him. Most of their Marquee signings over the past 10 years have failed miserably at Man United, not just Pogba. Another thing is Pogba was upfront about wanting a new challenge because they promised him plenty of trophies, surround him with quality players and competing for the league but Man United hasn't managed that at all.
  24. Calling Chelsea Fans Rent Boys is apparently a homophobic slur in the UK. I'm curious as to why all of a sudden this is a homophobic issue when they've been called that for almost two decades.
  25. I'm three decades late like an absentee father that finally came back from the store but Happy Birthday @Shagger.
