Open Roads - A new interactive movie mystery-thriller game out tomorrow
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
This reminds me a bit of the Broken Sword series. I'd hope the story would be pretty well-written and the family secrets turn out to be something insane. -
Sworn - A new Co-op action rogue-like coming in 2024

Not a bad looking game at all - The story seems quite bland if I'm being honest but the gameplay looks pretty smooth and fast-paced. I'd keep an eye on it. -
I'm not going to lie, it reminds a bit of the old unreal tournament games in terms of the fast-paced movement. I also like the graphics as well and for $20? I'd be willing to try it out.

DC Universe Online is still going strong after 13 years, now has PS5 port
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
It's crazy how time flies. I used to play this game alongside Champions Online in the 2010s, I can't believe it's been that long already. I used to stay up way into the night playing this after a Champions Online session. -
Yeah. I saw the trailer earlier today. Honestly, it seems somewhat descent. Of course, I'd have to play it first but I do find it interesting. I thought it was going to be a straight shooter but the characters all have their signature movesets.

I agree - They're poor at promoting the PS accessories for their systems. Outside of the controllers, I don't own any other PS peripheral.

What’s your first thought when you wake up?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I'm not sure why but my bladder is somewhat empty in the mornings but then again, I usually stop drinking fluids a few hours before bed and make sure to use the bathroom right before bedtime. -
Tried to play Dragons Dogma 2 but it's unplayable at the moment so I got on some Ghost Of Tsushima. It's such a wonderful game.

I once had the original Elite series and it's a shame that it stopped working after a while because I loved its customization options. I may get another one in the future if I have the money available.
-
Absolutely not - that'd drive away most of the fanbase. Most people would probably ignore it especially ones who don't have an Xbox.

Classic Activision/Blizzard games you want to see make a comeback on Xbox?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Xbox
I wouldn't mind a Legacy Of Kain game since they acquired the IP from THQ. Crash Bandicoot should definitely get some love from Activision because it's an iconic gaming series in the industry. -
Should I pay to repair my Xbox One, or buy a new/used one instead?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Xbox
Just like others here, I'd recommend getting a new one unless you absolutely know what you're doing. Otherwise, it'll end up costing you far more than getting another Series X. -
I'm sure all of us have had games we've been looking forward to for years only for them to massive disappointments on release. Here's a few games that make my list: Star Wars Battlefront II - Caught up in the nostalgia of the original Battlefront games on the PS2, I was so confident this was going to be a hit that I pre-ordered. Needless to say, on launch it was a massive flop. That was also the last time I ever pre-ordered a game. Cyberpunk 2077 - We were all gushing over this game years before its release and I almost pre-ordered it but I remembered my last experience with Battlefront. To say that the launch was a massive disappointment wouldn't even begin to describe how I felt. The game was buggy and borderline unplayable at times. It's pretty good after the many patches and the DLCs. Starfield - I was cautiously optimistic based on what I saw. However, given Bethesda's recent record, a part of me was saying that they'd give us a subpar experience so my expectations were reasonably low. I got this game for free and when I tell you that I'm still disappointed, you wouldn't have any idea. The universe just feels devoid of content - the worlds are bland. Modding Elder Scrolls games and Fallout is one thing because those games had a decent amount of content to begin with. Starfield, on the other hand, felt like playing in a massive void. What games we're you excited for before release only for them to leave you massively disappointed after release?

I'm usually using Logitech or Corsair or Hyper peripherals as these are the ones I've gotten the most usage out of for an affordable price.

I'm not so sure - Yes, it does look more appealing but most of the claims they've made regarding the benefits have mostly been exaggerated. The biggest benefit of curved monitors reported by most testers is the immersion.
-
That's mostly what you need - it's not even that time-consuming and it will save you some bucks in the long run.
