I’m curious to hear from those who have experienced a cruise before. What did you like or dislike about it? For anyone who hasn’t been, is it something you’d want to try in the future? What would be your ideal cruise destination or experience?

What linear games would make terrible open worlds?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Yeah - another game I think would suffer as well is a game like Contra. -
Games that leave out important details in dialogue?

When you say online features, do you mean mods? Because Skyrim doesn't really have an online mode. -
Games that leave out important details in dialogue?

There's a lot of truth to that. Sometimes, the base game doesn't really explain something well. It's until you read a book in-game or in a sequel, you usually get the full understanding of certain things in the Elder Scrolls. -
How Did You Discover Your Favorite Gaming Genre?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
Ironically, it's the original Final Fantasy game that got me into RPGs as well. And then sometime later down the line FF VII and VIII came out and that's what sealed the deal for me. -

Played some Hoyle Board games - it's been ages since I've played this. The nostalgia!

Whether it's a road trip, a backpacking adventure, or a marathon flight across the globe, what's the longest journey you've ever taken? How long did it take, and what made it memorable?

If you suddenly had more free time - whether from a shorter work week or fewer responsibilities, how would you spend it? Would you focus on hobbies, pick up a new skill, travel, or just relax?

Are there any conspiracy theories out there that you think might actually have some truth to them? Whether it's about secret government projects, hidden agendas, or unexplained historical events, I'd love to hear what you think and why.

I’ve noticed that wearing bright and colorful clothes always seems to lift my mood and make the day more vibrant! Do you like to wear bold colors too? Or do you prefer more neutral tones? Would love to hear why you choose the styles you do and how they make you feel.

If You Could Live in Any TV Show, Which One Would It Be and Why?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Movies & TV
Nice choice! Personally, I'd like to live in the Castlevania world because I could learn lots of magic and become an extremely powerful sorcerer. -
And the team behind the successful Castlevania series on Netflix is working on this project so I'm definitely looking forward to this. Are you excited by this news? I sure am because I'm a huge DMC fan and I love Castlevania as well and I rewatch the Castlevania series at least once a month. Here's the official trailer:

Who is your favourite character in Game of Thrones? And, why?
killamch89 replied to Scorpion's topic in Movies & TV
I’d have to say Arya Stark. Her journey from a young, innocent girl to a skilled, resilient warrior is fascinating. Her loyalty to family, determination, and ability to survive in a brutal world stand out to me. Plus, her storylines with characters like The Hound add depth to her character, showcasing her humanity in the face of darkness. -
I get where you're coming from. When I was in scouts as a lad, they made me sell cookies as well. I mean we did get some but that was like way after everyone had their share.

How Long Have You Lived in Your Current Home?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
Honestly, I hate moving as well. You're always breaking stuff or losing stuff during moving. The part I particularly despise is when you have to go through mountains of old stuff that you forgot about. That's neat. -
Does anyone remember the Doyle Board games of the 2000s with lots of board games such as Dominoes, Checkers and Chess? That game taught me how to play Chess so I had to get a copy of it on my laptop the other day. What about you guys? Any good memories with Hoyle Board games?
