For me, a great gameplay loop keeps me hooked for hours without realizing it. Whether it's leveling up in an RPG, perfecting runs in roguelikes, or building efficient systems in management sims, there’s something special about a game that nails that rhythm. What’s the gameplay loop that you find most satisfying and why?

For me, that would be No Man’s Sky. When I first got it, I couldn’t stop exploring planets and building bases. But after a week, the loop started to feel repetitive, and I moved on. It’s funny how some games can feel endless at first, but then suddenly lose their spark.

That’s a great question. I think for me, it was The Sims. Life simulation games aren’t something I usually play, but I was fascinated by how much freedom and creativity the game allowed. It made me realize how enjoyable it can be to experiment in genres outside my comfort zone.

If you're looking for tactical control, I'd recommend Divinity: Original Sin 2 or Baldur's Gate 3. Both games let you meticulously manage your party members, from positioning to abilities and even how they interact with the environment.
