I used to play the EA college football games back in the day as well but I can't say that I'm looking forward to this game as I know it's just going to be a Madden reskin with minor roster tweaks. Just watch, it'll have the same bugs and glitches as madden.

Sonic co-creator Yuji Naka arrested for possible Insider Trading
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
Insider trading is a serious crime so he has to do the time. To be honest, I don't know much about Yuji Naka outside of him creating Sonic so I can't say much else about his personal issues. -
MultiVersus Surpasses 20 Million Players in One Month
killamch89 replied to DC's topic in Gaming News
It's a valid Smash competitor and I'm a huge fan of Smash. Smash does have more game modes and extremely unique characters but Multiversus' gameplay is comparably fun. -
Feds might investigate Microsoft takeover of Activision
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
It's not just the US who are investigating the Microsoft Activision deal - Europe is already looking into this deal as well. Remember that it was Europe that stopped Nvidia from acquiring Qualcomm. -
Thanks man and the same to you. I had some fillet fish and some turkey.

Does the Internet need controls or censorship?
killamch89 replied to Nebulous's topic in General Chat
I'd say keeping kids away from social media and the internet has been heavily censored for years. Why do you think you can't see certain events on Youtube or find them on most legit video sharing websites. -
Even when I was growing up with my parents, I only remembered it as a day to stuff my stomach with all kinds of food - as a matter of fact, I still do. In Christianity, it's the day that they claimed Jesus Christ was born but most of the Christians I knew growing up only cared about the food.

Nice looking parrot - why would you call him evil? Does he swear a lot and call you all kinds of names? My parrot used to do that but he learnt that from me and my brother always going back and forth every day when we were growing up. Or does he laugh like this:

I agree - I haven't been apart of a Steam group in ages. Hell, I usually forget about them until I get some notification years later that something's happening in one of these groups.

Aspects of gaming you had to learn to appreciate
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I've been gaming on keyboard since the late 90's and in quite a number of PC games, the controls aren't necessarily optimized for keyboard and mouse so I end up having to use my Xbox controller instead. -
Definitely - the fact that the stigma about videogames being a massive waste of time still exists confirms this. Yes, videogaming is more widely accepted than when I was a kid and they're trying to incorporate it into other industries to benefit people in numerous ways. But most non-gamers still think videogames are a huge waste of time.

Really? I'm going to have to look this up. Gaming companies keep trying to shoot themselves in the foot all the time.

Picking up any games during Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2022?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Haven't really found any good deals either - all I've seen some retailers do is jack up the price and then offer a "discount" which would be the normal price of the game at any other time of the year. -
What are the most guilt-inducing moments in games?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I keep having to come back to this: Spec Ops: the Line White phosphorus moment - absolutely horrifying. I think it's the first game that has ever made me feel guilty for killing tons of innocent people. -
Do you have the habit of moving your arms/body with the game?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Occasionally, I still do it sub-consciously but not for every type of game though. It's mainly games with lots of action. -
Is there an “ideal” number of hours for an open world game?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
For me personally, it depends on the amount of content - if the content is great, I don't really care about the amount of hours. However, if it's full of generic, grinding missions, the game is far too long for my liking. -
I was literally just about to bring up DMC reboot - that Dante looked like some Emo kid who'd skip school to smoke cigarettes. Vergil looks and acts like some stuck-up half-demon aristocrat. Thank goodness Capcom came to their senses - I swear I'd never touch another DMC game had they continued with that reboot.

I can't actually think of any action games without bosses - the whole gaming industry would critique the hell out of such a game.

My list goes as follows: Deus Ex (the graphics were poor even at the time of release. It's still a great game but still...) Twisted Metal 2 Nioh (truly underrated game) Fallout 3

Ai can but it's basically bound to whatever parameters it's creators programmed it with. Ai as of now isn't anywhere near its full potential - Ai is still dependent on constant human input and maintenance. Nowhere near the sentience that all these tech companies are trying to portray. Customer Service Jobs are going this way and we're seeing that with a lot of larger tech companies already.
