Do you think money can buy you quality team that can win you everything?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
I agree - Locatelli looks like shadow of his former self, Vlahovic looks frustrated at Juventus and Pogba keeps getting injured, Juventus are an absolute mess right now. -
Messi and Neymar duo will bring something new to PSG this season
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
I'm not sure what to think about this whole situation - One week he moans to the media about PSG then the next week he claims he doesn't want to leave. Mbappe's ego is out of this world. -
I'll tell you this much, I'm not betting on any team Drake bets on - I swore the Drake's Curse was a joke until I saw the teams that he bets on and about 95% of the time he's wrong.

Honestly, I'm far more worried for Barcelona - Unless they beat Bayern and hope that Inter losses to them and draws with the other team, Barca will end up in the Europa League for the second year in a row. With the summer they had, they need to be doing better than that - for heavens sake, why does he insists on playing Busquets when we can all see he's finished, Frenkie has done a far better job in his role but Xavi just keeps him on the bench. Furthermore, Xavi keeps making Raphinha and Dembele stay wide instead of cutting inside and shooting and also interchanging positions. Barca are performing way below expectation with the quality of the squad they have.

You know, it'd be funny if Erling Halaand has a record-breaking season and Man City doesn't win anything this season. We all know they're not winning the Champion's League and the Premier League finally looks way more competitive with Arsenal really stepping up this season.

Man City won team of the year over Real Madrid And Liverpool and honestly, I'm baffled why. I mean, Real Madrid made 4 remarkable comebacks on their way to winning the Champions League in addition to winning their league. Liverpool lost out on the league title by one point and also narrowly lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League finals while winning the Fa and League cups. I can understand Liverpool missing out but Real Madrid should get it on the basis that they also won the Champions League. What are your thoughts on this?

K. Benzema wins UEFA Men's player of the year 2021/2022 season
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
So it's official now - Karim Benzema has won the Ballon D'or. -
This looks amazing to be fair and just as @The Blackangel said, making it a cartoon was a far better decision than a movie because most virtual characters don't translate well to a movie using an actor. They look weird in real life so this was a good decision.

Even though I have already read the entire Thousand Year Blood War Arc in the bleach manga, To finally see it animated and the quality of it - amazing! Yhwach marching the quincies through Hueco Mundo looks awesome. Dota: Dragon's Blood on Netflix is an absolute banger. This is actually one of the more mediocre fights in the entire series - that's just how awesome all the fights were in all three seasons. Golden Kamuy season 4 has been on fire! Every episode so far has me on the edge of my seat.

Did your school/college offer Film Class?
killamch89 replied to melanie_marie27's topic in Movies & TV
That really sounds like fun - I wish I had something like that at college. The only thing we had were famous artists come to the weekly parties on campus and performing - I mean I did enjoy it but I'd have like something a tad different every now and then. -
I've never really played DOTA all that much but I came across this anime based on the DOTA universe and I must say - it's simply awesome. The story is full of all kinds of twists and turns, the characters are well-written, and the fights are breathtaking to say the least. Terrorblade, The Invoker, and Davion are my favorite characters - Terrorblade is an amazing antagonist - the way how he plays on your insecurities and psychologically picks his opponents apart is insane. The Invoker is the only person in the entire series who's always one step ahead of him and the Invoker is so powerful! Davion is a mortal that had his soul infused with the Elder Dragon Skylark - an extremely powerful and ancient fire dragon and their interactions are hilarious to say the least. Has anyone else watched Dota Dragon's Blood and what do you think of it?

I just started watching DOTA: Dragon's Blood last week on Netflix and it's absolutely amazing! I never thought I'd find an anime/cartoon on Netflix that's as good as Castlevania. The characters are so well-written and the story is full of twists and turns.

Have you ever been in to returning game DVD for a cashback?
killamch89 replied to joblessdude's topic in Gaming Forum
You're the fortunate one - we hardly have anything like that for Switch games. It's mainly PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/Series games. -
RDR 2 in terms of physics of the mane and tail of the horse as well as the animation is the best I've seen of any game. It actually feels like they put effort into replicating the behavior of a horse rather than them being an afterthought in games like Skyrim for instance. Witcher 3 would be my second pick as I also think they've done an excellent job with horses as well.

You're right especially after losing his wife and family, the way how they portrayed Max's pain was really well done by the developers. It was somewhat subtle but noticeable if you really paid attention.

Will video games still exist in 1,000 years? Or even 100?
killamch89 replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming Forum
Videogames will still be around but it'll likely be far more interactive in the future with VR/AR headsets and lots of haptic feedback sensors for immersion. -
How much do you anticipate indie games with the simulation genre?
killamch89 replied to RedRainStudio's topic in Gaming Forum
In general, I don't like simulation games all that much just because they remind you of the time you could be spending doing the same thing in real life and actually benefitting from it. Then, there's the games that claim to be simulators but have all kinds of wacky mechanics which make the game feel like anything but a true simulator. One thing I'd like is for Indie companies make simulators a bit more fun - most are so boring that you quickly get turned off from the game. -
And then your audience decides which games you should play - you can't really play what you want. Take for instance, Overwatch 2 - It's impossible just to get a match started and yet you'll have lots of people wanting you to play it.

Approaching a save point and dying a few steps away from it or passing one and about to save and something comes out of nowhere and kills you. Even worse, just passing a save point, choosing not save and then dying a couple of minutes afterwards.

Bad or mediocre movies that would make great video games?
killamch89 replied to DC's topic in Gaming Forum
Good shout. I mean John Wick is killing everything that moves - I'm sure it'd translate well to videogames. Underworld is a great universe and the movies were pretty good. -
Why is it so hard to adapt video games well to film?
killamch89 replied to DC's topic in Gaming Forum
Agreed - the signature skills of several Mortal Kombat fighters look so bizarre outside of the videogames. As for the older movies, CGI was way worse back in the days so it was to be expected. -
Trick or Treat! Overwatch 2 stinks like feet!

What are the best video games based on tabletop games?
killamch89 replied to DC's topic in Gaming Forum
I was just about to say that - I have played DnD tabletop a couple of times as a kid and Baldur's Gate is a DnD game. I don't really know of any other popular tabletop game that has any good videogame releases.
