But I've said that many times over - Skyrim the base game is average at best. And so are most of Bethesda's games - it's the modding community that made them what they are. I love the work that CDPR does with their games but Cyberpunk 2077 is a poor game - the concept was decent but the end product was disastrous so of course we can say that. It's just that gamers aren't holding studios accountable - I'm not a fanboy of any company. I could love all the work they've done in the past but a buggy game at $60 is a no go no matter who it is. The old Battlefront games aren't just brilliant to me because of the lack of microtransactions. The storytelling plus the gameplay is what really made me love the old Battlefront games and still cherish them. Battlefront 2 is such a poor and lazy release for $60 compared to the original and that's why I have such a very negative outlook on it. It'd be the same with the GTA trilogy edition - I'm a huge GTA fan but when a company starts really dropping their standards, I'm not going to support them because I know what they are fully capable of producing if they really wanted to.

Netflix should really start to release bigger/triple A games

They'd probably need to come up with a unique service not currently offered in the gaming industry for that to happen. Either that or when they gain a big enough reputation in this industry, they'll be able to hold their own against Sony and the others...somewhat. -
To be fair, I've played it for hours throughout the week and it won't get boring that quickly because of each character's movesets and the creative amount of combo attacks you can come up with. Smash has some really creative characters like Nes, Kirby and the Ice Climbers but Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry would give them a run for their money in that department.

Petition for Sony to approve Days Gone 2

It's a very entertaining game but the story of LOU is levels above Dayz gone. -
I'm not quite sure exactly when either is being released - If I'm not mistaken, Resident Evil 4 Remake could be coming out some time next year but we don't have any info on Dead Space Remake at all.

Now that I think about it, Zelda Oracle Of Ages had time travel with the Time Portal (If I'm remember correctly).

That's if Naughty Dog make the creation tools accessible to the PC community.

Between them and EA, they make the same sports games every year with a graphical update at best while re-adding features from former games and labelling them "revolutionary" while not addressing the real issues or neglecting other features of the game and prioritising things like Fifa Ultimate Team.

Like some kind of multiverse scenario - wouldn't be a bad idea at all. It's something very possible in Rick and Morty with all the experiments they do every episode.

Red Dead Redemption 2 should add an invader option on single player

Rockstar doesn't really care about RDR2 despite all the success it has and while this is an excellent suggestion, they'll never put that much effort into content updates for it unlike GTA Online - their cash cow. -
If you game at night, do you use blue light filters?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I never really got the idea behind blue light filters because most of the people I knew who used it, they said it was ineffective and I also found it ineffective. What you're doing at night is more likely to keep you awake and no light filter can change that. -
What's the absolute worst game you've ever played?
killamch89 replied to harleyqbx's topic in Gaming Forum
I used to love Sims initially but it really became exhausting after a couple of weeks. It really is like having a second life and I got extremely bored of it as well. -
The scariest enemies, npcs and characters in video games
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Pyramid head is a different kind of creepy - I just can't put my finger on it. I've seen so many scary npcs in videogames but he always tops my list with the insane stuff he always does and so nonchalantly too. Just like Aliens in the movie they adapt to your tactics so you can't really hide in one place to get away from them every time as by the third attempt they'll know exactly where to find you. I wish AI in more games was as intelligent and adaptable as this. -
Do you look up in advance if characters will die?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Anime is a bit different because you may have been reading the manga for some time before the series even gets an anime so sometimes you can't help that. For instance, I was reading the Promised Neverland long before it ever got an anime so I'd already knew how things were going to play out. -
I totally agree - Spec Ops is so underrated, it's not even funny. It's one of the first games that really made me reconsider just killing every NPC in sight and that White Phosphorus scene really took me aback. Mind you, in Fallout games I've used dozens of nukes to wipe out the Fallout NPCs and I couldn't care less. I wish more modern games were as well written.

Games that don’t contain a lot of prejudice
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Animal Crossing is a great shout - It never came to mind because I've only played one or two games. -
How often do you buy video games the week they release?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Agreed - I usually wait for the review of games before I buy any games. The last time I pre-ordered a game, I still regret that decision to this day. -
As long as videogames have been around, the media has always been trying to blame them for a lot of shortcomings in society - Politicians always try to blame videogames for violence when 99.9% of gamers never re-enact in real life what they did in games. If that were the case, we wouldn't shoot up schools, we'd end the world and everything in it. Almost everything in this video is so overtly exaggerated and the worst part is, you have brain dead idiots that'd readily believe anything on a Youtube video.

What Gaming subscriptions do you have and are you satisfied with them?
killamch89 replied to Yaramaki's topic in Gaming Forum
Used to but I haven't in almost a decade - I miss gaming magazines too with all kinds of cool game exclusive cheat codes among other content but sadly, that ship has run its course. -
Reasons to why you subscribe to Game Subscription Services
killamch89 replied to Gonassis's topic in Gaming Forum
The Nintendo one is kind of mandatory for downloading games to the Switch and having online access in most titles. Gamepass gives you a whole host of games for a relatively affordable price per month. I don't use EA Play for obvious reasons and if Ubisoft or any other of those companies have one, I still wouldn't get it either. -
ummm...GTA npcs can be aggressive for no reason at all - just look how they run you over when trying to cross the road. These are all good shouts - I haven't played Fable in quite some time so it didn't cross my mind and Pokemon has a lot of friendly people outside of the antagonists like Team Rocket and even they can be somewhat friendly.

PGA Tour 2K23 Launches This October, Tiger Woods Cover Athlete
killamch89 replied to DC's topic in Gaming News
I mean they did purchase the licenses and have had them for some time so it's not like anyone can get them to relinquished it just like that. Plus they make lots of money off those games annually so they don't have any real impetus to improve the quality of them. -
Project 007 & Project Dragon won't drop before March of 2025
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
Yeah, it'd be more stealth based in certain scenarios like when you're trying to gather info so Bond would use some sort of tech and he'd have gadgets that can duplicate passes and stuff like that. But then you'd probably have things like car chases which would be very action-oriented.
