Most Ridiculous Social Media Trends/Challenges
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I think I know which video you're talking about and yeah he's definitely dead. I'm not sure - no amount of money could get me to do that especially without proper safety equipment. -
Where do I start? So things I love to cook involve: Fried chicken/Roast chicken/anything involving chicken Sponge Cake (super easy to make - just 4 ingredients and about an hour and a half at most) Omelets with cheese and chicken frankfurters (super easy breakfast meal) Cornmeal Pudding (this is a bit more time consuming but it tastes good) Turkey Meatloaf (surprisingly easy to make) tin mackerel and rice (Jamaican recipe - easy to make) Spaghetti/Pasta tuna lasagna Spicy Tuna fried rice I could go on but this list is making me hungry XD
-
Same with my Galaxy Watch - when I get notifications or even when someone's calling, I don't have to pull out my phone to see who it is or who's messaging me.

The Samson Meteor is one that I've seen recommended for podcast especially for beginners along with the Blue Yeti which I currently own. It must be said though that the Yeti tends to pick up almost every little sound which has its pros and cons.

Protonmail has been around for quite some time and Tutanota as well but they're a bit more privacy focused with the option to encrypt your email messages so that only the recipient with the key provided by you can access it.
-
Personally, I've used Recuva but that was years ago but there are a few others on the market such as: R-Studio GetDataBack ReclaiMe UFS Explorer DMDE FileScavenger And before you ask, no - they're not all free but have been recommended to me and I can find some evidence that they do work. FileScavenger and R-Studio in particular are the most recommended I've seen from acquaintances, tech Youtube channels and on tech Reddit posts.

Was just about to point this out. There are people still using Windows 7 and 8 so it's not that big of a deal. All this talk of your system being "more secure" when upgrade to Windows 11 is strictly all talk since it still can get hacked quite easily.
-
Honestly, I'm in no rush to upgrade either and it's primarily because a lot of drivers for software I frequently use aren't supported.
-
Canva is a good beginner but you can go with Adobe Premiere which is pricey but is used as an industry standard. There's also Sony Vegas which is a far cheaper alternative but still does an excellent job. Camtasia and Filmora are also decent options.

To be fair, I do like VGR's navy blue theme. I also love much dark themes because as you said, they're far easier on the eyes especially for extended periods of time.

Hotmail or Gmail? Which one do you prefer?
killamch89 replied to The Blackangel's topic in Technology & Gadgets
Apart from certain features like focused inbox, they're more or less the same. You're not exactly missing out on much and occasionally, Outlook/Hotmail will suddenly decide to delay emails for a few hours and then you suddenly get an influx of emails. -
Which European top 5 club is having the best transfer window?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
As of now, my list goes: Man City Barcelona Bayern Munich Arsenal Real Madrid Tottenham -
So as an update - Jules Kounde has joined Barcelona for 55m Euros and Xavi confirms that Sergino Dest is also staying. As for the Frenkie De Jong saga, well, I'm not sure how this one is going to turn out but Barca have had an amazing window.

What are your favorite tools to convert videos?
killamch89 replied to DC's topic in Technology & Gadgets
Personally, I've used Wondershare uni converter. It's free and covers a good range of formats and is pretty quick from my experience. Handbrake isn't bad either even though the amount of formats it supports is way smaller. -
You're correct - the question I have to ask is if you're going to protest something, why not protest about something related to football? Why would you be disrupting a football match to protest about climate change while tying yourself to a goal post? Almost every protestor I've ever witnessed invading a football pitch is protesting about something that football in no way, shape or form directly impacts or can change the outcome either.
-
Yeah, I remember going to one in 2014 and in two drunk guys started hurling bottles at each other while arguing during the match. They didn't hit anyone but it was hilarious when they both fell over after a few throws and were helpless like roaches on their backs.

I'm sure if you were doing some physical conditioning, you'd be able to.

How do you feel when your team loses a major cup final/competition
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
That's probably why he's doing everything in his power to leave Man United. -
Are you loving the 5 substitution chances in world football?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
The fact that they found long-term replacements for Luka Modric and Kroos in Carnavinga and Tchouameni means those two will run that midfield for the next 5-10 years when both retire. -
Yeah, If I'm not mistaken, it'll be held in France in 2026. Europe has been a bit more stringent on who can travel there.
-
I get that but I'm curious if the players will be given short breaks after the world cup or will they just go back to club football immediately after. On another note, it's being reported that Real Madrid wants Broja from Chelsea as backup to Benzema. I just think that Real Madrid should look for a more developed backup as Broja is very raw.

Cast your vote, which nation will lift world cup 2022 in Qatar?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
I'd love if an African team knocked England out of the World Cup just for the racism English fans showed to Bakayo Saka, Rashford and Jaden Sancho when the former missed his penalty and England lost the Euros on penalties. -
Neymar destroyed his own career so he can't be upset when he gets outshone by some 21 year old (albeit Mbappe is one of the best youngsters in the world but still) and Neymar's skills are starting to decline.
-
You're right but on a related note, Neymar hasn't lived up to that price tag at all considering the expectations when PSG did this deal. He's constantly injured, not consistent when the pressure is on and has a poor attitude. The talent is there even though he's declining gradually but he'd have been better off staying at Barcelona.
