I do remember Dammit Dave on DOJ, I just saw him in some of Bay Area Buggs old DOJ videos that he used to do with Jeff but he occasionally shows up which is probably why some wouldn't really know who he is. I understand what you mean by the gaming standards of previous decades has really fell off a cliff and most of us older gamers bring up that point every day. They keep taking out a lot of features of older games and try to sell us a shell of a product for even more exorbitant prices. Most modern games of a genre seem to follow what works rather than trying to provide a unique experience to its users.

To be fair, I've had this issue with Skyrim and the Outer Worlds on PC and it just magically sorts itself out over time. That being said, it's difficult to answer this one as I personally haven't heard any PS5 owners I know or have encountered mention this issue. Have you tried to find a possible fix on any gaming sites/ Youtube/Playstation forum?

Honestly, it's game-dependent as some games allow you the option to make separate autosaves while others just overwrite the previous one. Which game are we talking about @StaceyPowers?

Personally, in Skyrim, if it's important to that particular character's playthrough, I tend to make time to level it along with my combat skills. Either that or whenever I'm not out hunting dragons/bandits/citizens of Skyrim, I tend to do it when I'm staying in a city/town.

If there's no workaround such as cheat codes, patches (official or unofficial) and no Youtube tutorials can't help me in this situation, I just move on to something else.

I don't mind it personally as long as it's not integral to your characters' development and is just a laid-back activity you do at your casual leisure, it doesn't really bother me. As for why, I'd say that's because fishing is a very relaxing and mundane activity by nature. Some people like tranquil activities in the middle of all the chaos.

As long as the game has engaging content the whole time, I don't mind it at all. It could be 1 billion hours long for all I care - just don't fill it with repetitive scenarios that are copy and paste of earlier parts of the game.

The nearest comparison to this in my opinion is Ark Evolved - it's a modern game that can be modded (I've considered doing this at some point).

On a related note, I've seen some new extreme sports such as slap fighting where the objective on the game is to slap your opponent as hard as possible to knock them out. This gives a literal meaning to slapping the shit out of someone.

It has to do with the systems of modern teams, attackers in the top teams nowadays have to be great at both attacking and putting in lots of defensive work and it has to be done throughout the 90 minutes.

The problem is that their recruitment plan is also terrible with how long they hold on to players they no longer want.

So true - Man United's budget is limited this window from previous ones because of the constant overspending over the past few years and yet even on a limited budget they still managed to overspend. I don't think I've seen a worse team at negotiating transfers as Man United.

I mean the only thing we've seen him improve at is making stupid decisions on the pitch. I could be paid thousands of pounds a week to play like that and entertain rival fans - how am I not as lucky as him? lol I say the latter because he still makes the same freaking mistakes repeatedly. No amount of coaching can fix him. Maguire is 29 years old but in terms of defenders he'd have at most 2-3 years at the top but his confidence will never be revived because Man United fans constantly boo him if he does anything wrong.

Maguire is a whole curse I tells ya - to be honest, the current set of Man United players are also a bunch of bottlers. They've lost every final they've been in to in the last 5 years so he'd be going through the same thing again. Actually, he's come out multiple times and says he wants to win trophies and even went on strike at the start of last season. It's just that Harry Kane is extremely expensive, 120m was what Tottenham were quoting Man City last year.

The Declan Rice one I didn't know about but the Salah and De Bruyne ones were such blatant blunders by Chelsea and Mourinho at the time. I'd argue that selling Juan Mata to accomodate Oscar was pretty stupid as well. I agree - just look at Donny Van De Beek at Man United. He was once on his way to Madrid but he decided to join Man United and now he looks a shell of his former self. He used to have so much confidence and skill but now it seems like he's always taking too long on the ball.

Personally, even though I can play most positions including Right back and goalkeeper, my favorite position would be Right Wing because I love running at defenders and making runs behind the defence. Not to mention I love whipping in crosses with right or cutting on to my left foot and shooting from outside the box. What is your favorite position to play on a Football team and why?
