  1. I mean Serie A is levels below La Liga, Epl and Bundesliga. Do you notice that most Serie A teams always do poorly in Europe. For instance, last year, AC Milan - the league champions dropped out of Europe after finishing last in their group. Inter Milan in the round of 16 in the Champions League, Napoli in the Europa League and Juventus in the round of 16 against a mediocre Villareal. The only team that did anything in Europe this season was Roma and they won the Conference League (European 3rd tier but still...).
  2. I just don't like to see players start sulking when something isn't quite going their way instead of trying to encourage the rest of the team to do better.
  3. The point is that the origin wasn't homophobic to begin with so why are they making it into something it isn't.
  4. You're correct and I hope they really address it so that they can be competitive in the Champion's League again.
  5. All Chelsea have been doing is trying to hijack deals and they haven't succeded even once while having the De Ligt transfer hijacked by Bayern. Man United just got bent over by Ajax to pay 57m for a 5ft 9 CB from the Dutch League and we know that the level of skill between the Dutch League and the English Premier League is night and day so I can see this one failing as well.
  6. I love it - the look of disappointment on the face of the Chelsea players always delight me.
  7. And therein lies the problem...Ronaldo wants to be competing for the biggest prizes but Man United isn't matching his level of ambition so he's still going to be frustrated.
  8. I still think you guys are very light defensively and the rumors of Azpi and Alonso (two very old players themselves who've declined as well) going to Barca wouldn't fill me with joy.
  9. Raphinha ain't a bad deal either - he's a very skillful and hardworking player and far more committed than Dembele who gets injured if he stubs his toe. Raphinha and Lewandoski will be a wicked partnership, mark my words.
  10. The issue is I already kind of have my own reputation in addition to that so I really can't go most places without people interrupting me all the time. To be honest, it's the fake people that get on my nerves and there are times where I just want to roll incognito.
  11. But then you have the ones like Lukaku who are used to the league but has flopped at two major clubs. The funniest part about it is Chelsea paid even more for Lukaku than Man United had bought him from Everton for and then Chelsea fans have the nerve to complain about his first touch when it's always been horrible.
  12. That's reasonable and I heard Barcelona was looking at Kounde from Sevilla but I'm curious as to why they didn't try to go in for De Ligt. Now he's off to Bayern.
  13. On another note - I've seen how losing a final affects teams negatively to the point where some players try to force transfers away to more successful clubs the very next transfer window. What are your views on that?
  14. I heard they're in for Kounde but I think he's very rash in my opinion but who knows? He might perform far better in a superior Barcelona team so we'll see what happens.
  15. Personally, I thought they should've left him in Greek jail when the police there locked him up for attempted bribery.
  16. Honestly, I just think @Justin11 should do some sort of hand sanitizer/soap charity, maybe get in contact with Dove and hand out soap...then again, they might not use it.
  17. Cry all you want mate - still won't bother me. The fact that you and @Shagger are so triggered by this is hilarious. Namecalling won't get you both anywhere - all it proves is that you're both so childish and emotional that anyone who shares a different view to your own is automatically a sexist, misogynistic etc. I mean @Justin11 and @Clasher don't always agree on everything but I don't hear them ever acting nowhere like this. We can agree to disagree and that's what I like about them. I'm done arguing with you both because this childish back and forth is beneath me.
  18. Call me what you want - I don't care but the fact is Women's football is not as entertaining and that has nothing to do with gender. But of course, you're going to cry about it...
  19. I know and that's why I'm saying that the Pique comparison to Benzema isn't quite accurate because his on-field performances has declined in recent years so even though he's a great leader, he's not really performing at the standard expected of a Barca player.
  20. I'd much rather lose all Pre-season games because at least I know it means nothing and won't in any affect how the season turns out.
  21. If I were Ten Hagg, I'd immediately put him up for sale and put it at like $10. I've watched Man United's preseason matches and as soon as he came on against Melbourne, Man United conceded almost immediately from his error...
  22. I'm just glad that this is coming out now because Man United fans used to say other fans were conspiring.
  23. I'll have to disagree here - some people just adapt to the Premier League pretty quickly like Alexis Sanchez for example while others need a season or more to really get up to speed in the EPL.
  24. The problem is the modern game requires attackers to put far more effort into defending and Messi has lost a good portion of his pace and stamina so that's why I say it'd be tricky for him to find a team that'll at least lighten his defensive responsibilities besides PSG at the moment.
  25. The video I showed previously is a sunday league player vs a professional women's football team. A sunday league player is the average joe who comes out of his house to play football on Sundays. I can show you just as many videos of women being absolutely garbage at football. Furthermore, most women aren't in sports anyways so they won't watch it either. Majority of sports watchers are males so that's who sponsorship will cater to, whoever brings in the most money and provide the most entertainment. Women's football and women's sport in general lacks the aggression and physicality of male sports and that is what makes it entertaining.
