  1. Call me what you want - I don't care but the fact is Women's football is not as entertaining and that has nothing to do with gender. But of course, you're going to cry about it...
  2. I know and that's why I'm saying that the Pique comparison to Benzema isn't quite accurate because his on-field performances has declined in recent years so even though he's a great leader, he's not really performing at the standard expected of a Barca player.
  3. I'd much rather lose all Pre-season games because at least I know it means nothing and won't in any affect how the season turns out.
  4. If I were Ten Hagg, I'd immediately put him up for sale and put it at like $10. I've watched Man United's preseason matches and as soon as he came on against Melbourne, Man United conceded almost immediately from his error...
  5. I'm just glad that this is coming out now because Man United fans used to say other fans were conspiring.
  6. I'll have to disagree here - some people just adapt to the Premier League pretty quickly like Alexis Sanchez for example while others need a season or more to really get up to speed in the EPL.
  7. The problem is the modern game requires attackers to put far more effort into defending and Messi has lost a good portion of his pace and stamina so that's why I say it'd be tricky for him to find a team that'll at least lighten his defensive responsibilities besides PSG at the moment.
  8. The video I showed previously is a sunday league player vs a professional women's football team. A sunday league player is the average joe who comes out of his house to play football on Sundays. I can show you just as many videos of women being absolutely garbage at football. Furthermore, most women aren't in sports anyways so they won't watch it either. Majority of sports watchers are males so that's who sponsorship will cater to, whoever brings in the most money and provide the most entertainment. Women's football and women's sport in general lacks the aggression and physicality of male sports and that is what makes it entertaining.
  9. Benzema is kinda different though, he's basically outperforming his younger self so of course he'd still be an asset to Real Madrid and he's a Real Legend.
  10. It's true, even seeing your team lose in Preseason hurts and mind you, Preseason doesn't really mean anything other than players gaining fitness.
  11. It was pretty obvious back then as well with Alex Ferguson - he used to intimidate the refs all the time during Premier League matches and was constantly in their ear so that he could get calls that favored Man United.
  12. The one thing I'll say about Messi is that he's more of a team player though so he could probably slot into a attacking midfield role if the team would cover his defensive duties. The tricky part is to find teams that will do that nowadays.
  13. The thing is on the other hand, Man United are stuck with Ronaldo because every other big club in Europe has rejected signing him and with the amount of wages he is on at Man United, nobody else was prepared to take up that offer so he's forced to stay.
  14. So far, Nunez does seem to be feeling the pressure that comes with the price tag Liverpool paid for him. Hopefully, he regains his confidence and his nerves settles and he does well. Watching him in preseason so far, I've seen glimpses of his true ability but he seems very nervous though.
  15. It's not just bad positioning, poor decision making as well in addition to his lack of pace makes him a terrible defender. He's so poor it's almost unreal - that being said, he does make for some good comedic football videos.
  16. The one thing I've seen Arsenal do well in recent windows is try to agree terms with the player before putting in a bid so that they absolutely know the player wants to come or is open to coming. Rather than putting in a bid, have the club accept it but the player has no desire to move there and rejects the transfer wasting precious time and effort.
  17. The significant gap in terms of talent and skill is the reason. Put some lower league player to play against a top woman's team and he'll embarass them. Think I'm being sexist? Just take a look for yourself: In addition to that, it's just all around less entertaining and way less physical and fast-paced as men's football. The more skilled and entertaining players bring in the money - simple as.
  18. France and Brazil are my pick just for the sheer amount of talent in both teams. Germany are currently rebuilding and they're a bit hit and miss at the moment, the Netherlands are also wildly inconsistent. Belgium seem to fall apart if De Bruyne doesn't play or have a great match. Spain is lacking firepower upfront - the only other team that may stand a chance of upsetting Brazil and France in my opinion is Portugal and they also have a team full of amazing talent and are no longer as reliant on Ronaldo as they used to be.
  19. I like the look of France so far but it's hard to tell. That being said, I honestly don't watch it all that much because the amateurish mistakes I see from some of the players makes me lose interest.
  20. You'd have some ridiculous scores like 20-18 and all that sort of stuff because you have players like Timo Werner who are always offside for some reason would benefit the most. Most strikers would simply wait near the 18 yard box so when the opposition loses the ball they'd just punt it upfield.
  21. You never know in Football - with teams like Newcastle who have near unlimited resources and some talented but greedy player, you cannot count it out.
  22. De Ligt From Juventus to Bayern - 68m which will be confimed soon. To be fair, I think this is a very good transfer and even though I feel like De Ligt has largely underperformed during his time at Juventus, so have many other talented players who've gone there in recent years. Oleksandr Zinchenko From Manchester City to Arsenal - 30m which will also be confirmed soon. This has to be the best bargain deal of the summer. He's one of the best left back in the EPL, an upgrade on Tierney (who's a pretty good left back himself) and will provide them with leadership and mentality.
  23. Nope - not at all. He's injury prone, up in age and although he is talented, he lacks the discipline required to ever be considered a Ballon D'or winner. When you look at players like Ronaldo, Messi and Benzema and how strictly they train and diet, you come to realize why Neymar will never get there.
