The only reason I didn't put Barca at the top is because in terms of price to performance, Man United has gotten a horrible return on most of the players they've purchased in the past decade. Let's not forget, they signed Harry Maguire - a defender with no pace, extremely error-prone and can't even do the basics right for 80m pounds. He's the most expensive defender in the history of football and he's performing at the level of a Championship player in the English Premier League.

Do you think VAR is helping to correct the mistakes of referees in matches?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
The English Premier League is a huge culprit of that because refs always tend to give clubs like Man United all the calls and a whole lot of penalties which they didn't even deserve. -
Do you think money can buy you quality team that can win you everything?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
That's what teams like Chelsea and Man United need to learn. Chelsea is always going after "big" names like Lukaku and Saul Niguez and neither signing worked out. Man United with Raphael Varane also isn't working out because he's so injury prone. -
How do you feel when your team loses a major cup final/competition

Anything can happen in a final so it is what it is for me. -
Were you influenced to love the game or it is something natural?

Cricket has to be one of the most boring sports to watch especially Test cricket. It feels like there's no excitement no nothing - if you want to recommend something to help cure someone's insomnia, just let them watch Cricket. Within 2 minutes, they'll be fast asleep. -
Another one is Benzema winner vs PSG

I haven't done mountain biking in over a decade but some of those tumbles were hilarious when I look back at them. The part that makes it the funniest is when you're sent flying off the bike into the air. All I hear is R.kelly's I believe I can fly during that moment and then you hit the ground and roll several yards and end up in so much pain 🤣

Apparently, nobody wants him so he's stuck at Manchester United anyways and on extremely huge wages mind you. This situation has the potential to be extremely toxic if not properly addressed by Man United. In my opinion, they should do what Arsenal did with Aubameyang and just terminate his contract and pay him the rest. It's better to take the hit now and move forward than allow the situation to continue getting worse. That said, I'm enjoying the suffering of Man United and long may it continue.

Do you think their should be set age limit for retirement?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
For instance, Buffon still plays football but for a lower tier Italian side. There's nothing wrong with that at all unlike other players who'll just sit around for one last paycheck and not make any significant contributions. -
No problem mate. Definitely - it's still the most entertaining sport to me.

Agreed - sometimes, nobody is available to watch it with. It's the same sporting event you're watching either way and you can still whatsapp people during the match.

Give your prediction: which club will win UCL 2021/2022?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
I just knew Real Madrid were going to win as they always seemed to comeback when everyone thought they'd lose and the fact that they did it time after time again, they thoroughly deserved it. -
Are you loving the 5 substitution chances in world football?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
The teams that stand to benefit the most are those with quality in depth such as Man City. I mean, their backup team could still compete for the Premier League title, that's how good a squad they have right now and it's only getting better and I'm not even a Man City fan. -
I believe betting on anything should be approached with this kind of mentality - it makes no sense fretting about stuff that's outside of your control.

Who will be your next favorite player when your current retires?
killamch89 replied to Justin11's topic in Sports
I agree as well - his work ethic, humility and winning mentality will definitely make him thrive. I feel like under Pep, with him constantly rotating his attackers and City's stringent style of play, he didn't quite get to express himself on the field as he'd like to. -
Yeah, it's a pretty epic movie and if I'm not mistaken, it was based on some ancient historical war in either Greece or Rome, I can't quite remember.

To be fair, I do use my speakers but only in the daytime as I live in Townhouse that's attached to others so any sound that is loud enough will disturb my neighbors. That's the other reason why I use my headphones at nights.
