Majority of the the games created in more recent years have fell horribly wide of the mark or missed it entirely so most dev teams aren't meeting the standards that gamers want.

This is a somewhat confusing question because MK trilogy isn't the same thing as the grand theft auto trilogy coming out. MK trilogy was the third game in the series while the GTA trilogy coming out is made up of three older GTA games remastered.

It's basically that they selectively programmed it to only connect with their joy cons. Recently, they programmed it to work with Bluetooth headsets as well.
