What toxic behaviors do games perpetuate/teach?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
That too and as I said before, most of us don't like drama. -
I do make personal mods for Skyrim but they're not released as yet as I want to make sure they're working perfectly. I still haven't completely finished my race mod as I'm trying to learn the code to add some pretty complex abilities.

Do you find first person or third person more immersive?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Melee combat in first person is just a bizarre experience in most games. Only the Chronicle of Riddick and a few others I've ever seen pull it off successfully. -
When is a playthrough of an open world game “done?”
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Exactly my point... -
Do you like or dislike open level design in a non-open world?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It depends on the game and how the mechanics work but I can't outright say I prefer one over the other. -
What’s the most boring quest you remember ever doing?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I remember in Eden Eternal (an MMO), one of the quests had you capturing 900 butterflies and it was throughout the landscape so you really had to travel to different parts and it was the ultimate grindfest. I literally had to set aside a day just to do it because I was not going to keep catching butterflies daily. -
What actions by a developer would lose your trust?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
This is Epic Games and Fortnite personified. EA has implemented political references in their game before such as Battlefield V which also failed miserably. -
Did a game ever help you stay connected to someone long-distance?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I've made a few friends from around the globe through gaming and I still keep in contact with them even though we no longer play the same game. -
Did you lie to your parents about gaming growing up?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Nope - my father was the one that introduced me to gaming as a kid and he was fully supportive of my habit. As for my mom, she didn't really mind because I had good grades even though I used to get into fights often enough. -
Have you ever asked someone to teach you to game better?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Well, not directly but I've asked players who were stronger than me to spar with me and it helped me to improve my fighting ability. -
When and why do you sleep in video games?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
To be honest, I only let my character sleep when they're either tired or need some rest for whatever reason such as recovering from injuries. -
What’s the hardest you’ve laughed while gaming?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Trevor in GTA 5 cracked me up whether it was the cutscenes involving him or his in-game commentary, I just can't stop laughing. Another one is the in-game commentary of the Aliens in kill all humans and the cutscenes. -
I used to play Pokemon Go back when it first came out and it was fun for a bit but then I lost interest in it. I haven't played any since then...

Are there any games with built-in seasons?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Off the top of my head, I can remember Forza Horizon 4 having dynamic seasons and weather. -
How do you set aside the urge to be a completionist?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I used to be like this once but over time, I just grew out of it. Mind you, I still like completing things in-game but that shouldn't be the only objective of playing a game or else it'll get boring really quickly. -
Nope, I always skip them and that's because they bore me to death and they're quite excessive.

I only purchase things on the App store using Google purchasing system.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of explaining it @Shagger. It's only in the past 5 years that I've really been aware of how problematic add tracking is and what they do with your data. In all honesty, I've become very observant of any website I visit and I always choose to reject the cookies because I don't want them to track me.

Anything with strawberry or cherry is my absolute favorite. I love strawberry sweets to the point that up until I left high school. I used to buy bulks of them and store them in my closet. What is your favorite candy flavor?

I love animals but pigs are absolutely repulsive to me. They'll eat anything and just like cows they tend to crap everywhere. However, unlike cows, they immediately turn around and eat it (disgusting) so no I wouldn't want one as a pet. Would you take a pig as a pet?

Honestly, laughter is what gets me through the day and keeps me in a good mood. I can do without talking cause there's always texting and other forms of communication. What's your choice and why?
