  1. The best thing to do is always have a save prior to the mod being installed. Some mods can be removed quite easily without any effect on the game - However, there are some that will leave scripts behind which will affect your gameplay going or them might just be passive. On PC, we have tools to remove said script but I can' speak much about console modding.
  2. Well, I want my character to grow more powerful and in order to that, I have to do quests to get resources to buy/craft said gear. On top of that, I do love some PVP so that encourages me to push harder to gain the equipment that I want.
  3. I don't think she's known enough so most people won't care if she appears in the X-Men movies.
  4. We'll need to recruit the farmer with a shotgun...
  5. I'm so disappointed with Sony especially with the decisions they've been making over the past 5 years.
  6. It's too high profile and they don't have enough connections within the US justice system so they'll definitely feel the full wrath of the law.
  7. In the first place, Frostbite was never properly developed. Someone did an article about it years ago so EA should've seen the writing on the wall.
  8. Their reputation has been totally destroyed - it'll take them at least 5 years to recover.
  9. Not sure but the Xperia flagship phones still have premium headphone Jacks (the only flagship that still offers that option) but Sony's marketing strategy is a bit hit n miss.
  10. You know maybe I should add some kind of traps just to ensure that the humans don't survive lol. Spikes are boring though...I want something that'd hurt the humans or at least reduce their chances of survival.
  11. Most of us older gamers do have lots of experience with EA games and it's because we know first-hand the great games they can create if they really put in the effort, is why we're so hard on them.
  12. I fully expect them to start abandoning it in the next few years as it has been deemed a failure.
  13. Video games tend to be more immersive for me because I can control some aspects of the universe whereas with TV and other media forms, I just have to accept what's given to me.
  14. I quite like these because they help you to find certain items that wouldn't be easily recognizable because they blend in with the background.
  15. Agreed - video games can bring you enjoyment but happiness is something you have to find within yourself. Trying to find it in something external means the happiness won't last.
  16. The events in Champions Online used to be grindfest because we needed certain armors from said event. The events were ridiculously tedious and it took several tries to even get a favorable piece of armor which used to drive me bonkers. On the other hand, I got lots of other stuff I could sell in-game.
  17. Nope - I've always enjoyed my console purchases and gotten lots of entertainment out of them. The only possible way I wouldn't enjoy it is the console not working right out of the box.
  18. I'd say that I learned exactly what a punching bag goes through when you're being pummeled mercilessly by all those enemies and can't even counterattack especially when they corner you.
  19. Pretty valid answer - I couldn't have said it better. This is also a valid point - nowadays, the third-party controllers are even more expensive than the OEM versions and they offer very little benefit over the original.
  20. Games do create an "escape" for most people so it helps them to cope with their life circumstances a bit better. Of course, I feel the study is omitting a few things like the origin of the depression so it's a bit iffy.
  21. I totally agree about Devil May Cry 2 - it was such a letdown. I mean it still was a good game but nowhere near the standard of the first game especially in the storytelling department.
  22. I'd say not really - It was more from an artistic point that I got into animation and digital art. Not so much gaming - who knows? I plan to get into 3-D animation so I may get involved in game development at some point.
