The best thing to do is always have a save prior to the mod being installed. Some mods can be removed quite easily without any effect on the game - However, there are some that will leave scripts behind which will affect your gameplay going or them might just be passive. On PC, we have tools to remove said script but I can' speak much about console modding.

How do you find motivation in-character in open world RPGs?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Well, I want my character to grow more powerful and in order to that, I have to do quests to get resources to buy/craft said gear. On top of that, I do love some PVP so that encourages me to push harder to gain the equipment that I want. -
I don't think she's known enough so most people won't care if she appears in the X-Men movies.

We'll need to recruit the farmer with a shotgun...

I'm so disappointed with Sony especially with the decisions they've been making over the past 5 years.

Not sure but the Xperia flagship phones still have premium headphone Jacks (the only flagship that still offers that option) but Sony's marketing strategy is a bit hit n miss.

Are you going to pre-order Jurrasic World Evolution 2?
killamch89 replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming News
You know maybe I should add some kind of traps just to ensure that the humans don't survive lol. Spikes are boring though...I want something that'd hurt the humans or at least reduce their chances of survival. -
Are games the most immersive form of entertainment for you?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Video games tend to be more immersive for me because I can control some aspects of the universe whereas with TV and other media forms, I just have to accept what's given to me. -
I quite like these because they help you to find certain items that wouldn't be easily recognizable because they blend in with the background.

Study: People who play video games are happier
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Agreed - video games can bring you enjoyment but happiness is something you have to find within yourself. Trying to find it in something external means the happiness won't last. -
The events in Champions Online used to be grindfest because we needed certain armors from said event. The events were ridiculously tedious and it took several tries to even get a favorable piece of armor which used to drive me bonkers. On the other hand, I got lots of other stuff I could sell in-game.

Nope - I've always enjoyed my console purchases and gotten lots of entertainment out of them. The only possible way I wouldn't enjoy it is the console not working right out of the box.

What video game did you most have to challenge yourself to play?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I'd say that I learned exactly what a punching bag goes through when you're being pummeled mercilessly by all those enemies and can't even counterattack especially when they corner you. -
Why are video game controllers so expensive?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Pretty valid answer - I couldn't have said it better. This is also a valid point - nowadays, the third-party controllers are even more expensive than the OEM versions and they offer very little benefit over the original. -
Study: Video games may lower depression risk
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Games do create an "escape" for most people so it helps them to cope with their life circumstances a bit better. Of course, I feel the study is omitting a few things like the origin of the depression so it's a bit iffy. -
I totally agree about Devil May Cry 2 - it was such a letdown. I mean it still was a good game but nowhere near the standard of the first game especially in the storytelling department.

Did gaming help prepare you for your career?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I'd say not really - It was more from an artistic point that I got into animation and digital art. Not so much gaming - who knows? I plan to get into 3-D animation so I may get involved in game development at some point. -
