With mobile gaming growing rapidly, game subscription services are becoming more popular. Services like Apple Arcade and Google Play Pass offer access to a wide range of games for a monthly fee. But do you think these services are a good deal for players, or do they limit game variety and quality? How do they impact the mobile gaming experience compared to traditional purchases? Would you prefer to pay for games individually, or are subscriptions the way to go?

What motivates you to keep playing a mobile game? Is it the gameplay loop, constant updates, or maybe the rewards system? Or do you find yourself hooked by social features like competitive modes or clan activities? For some, it might be a combination of factors, but for others, it could be something else entirely. What’s your driving force?

Has anyone here ever upgraded the storage on theirs? Whether it’s swapping out an SSD, adding a microSD card, or something else, how was the process? Did it improve your experience? Any tips for those considering an upgrade?

What’s your go-to game when you’re gaming on the go? Whether it’s a classic you can’t get enough of or a newer title that runs smoothly, share your favorites. Bonus points if you have tips on optimizing performance for specific games.

Do you find it worth it for gaming on a bigger screen or adding peripherals? What setup do you have, and how often do you actually use it docked vs. handheld?

With more options like the Steam Deck, Legion Go and ASUS ROG Ally, handheld gaming PCs are becoming popular but they're also pretty expensive. For those who own one or have considered buying, do you think they’re worth the investment? How does the experience compare to a traditional gaming setup or even other handhelds like the Switch?

Whether it's due to brutal difficulty settings, relentless enemies, resource scarcity, or harsh environments, which survival game really put your skills to the test? What made it so tough, and would you recommend it?

I’ve been wondering lately if making friends as an adult is actually harder than when we were kids. As children, it seems like friendships came naturally through school or shared activities, but as adults, it can feel like there's more social baggage or fewer opportunities. Do you think age makes a difference in forming friendships? What’s been your experience with making friends as you’ve gotten older?

Hey everyone, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on failure. Do you view it as an inevitable part of growth and learning, or does it feel more discouraging? For me, I see failures as stepping stones to improvement as you can learn a lot from it. How do you handle it? Any advice or personal stories on reframing failure would be awesome to hear.

I’ve heard some wild stuff over the years, but I’m curious to know what takes the cake for everyone else. What’s the most ridiculous, mind-blowing thing you’ve ever heard someone truly believe in, even if it made zero sense? Whether it's a bizarre conspiracy theory, a hilarious misconception, or just plain nonsense, let's hear your funniest or craziest examples.

Ever get bored of violence in video games?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I agree. It's not like the violence in most games is that excessive. -
What games would you like to see “remakes” of like TLOU?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The Last Of Us remake has been out for about 2 years now. Chrono Trigger is also supposed to be getting a remake if I remember correctly. -
Do gamepads work on PC for games that are PC-only?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It depends on the game to be honest. Sometimes, some gamepads don't work for certain PC games even though they're PC only. -
Freemium games where it is hard to stop paying once you start
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Yep. It's a strategy to create a desperation in you to pay for in-game features so that you can progress at a good enough rate. -
Games that were never made that you wish would be made?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Not going to happen unfortunately. The new Dragon Age game has flopped and Bioware looks to be on its last legs. in addition to that, a lot of the staff that were responsible for hits like Bioshock and Dragon Age have long left the company. -
I'm interested to see how this works because they're entering the market pretty late and devices like The Steam Deck dominate the PC handheld space already. Yes, they have Xbox Game Pass and a huge catalog but what will Xbox offer that other handhelds just don't have? I can't really think of anything.

Ubisoft Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over The Crew Shutdown
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I'm glad those bums are getting sued. At the rate Ubisoft is going, in the next two to three years, they'll either be filing for bankruptcy or being bought out by someone like Microsoft. -
