I've come close to falling in the shower but I've always managed to catch my balance. Having said that, I do sit in the shower at times just to get a nice soak.

I don't have an issue with old tech either but most have been replaced with devices that have better functionality so there's no point in using old electronics. I know how to use every social media platform - I just don't waste my time with them because they're full of toxic morons.

Would you rather wear one or seven colors everyday?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
You can also choose complimentary colors which would make your outfit have a more sophisticated look to it. -
I agree - it certainly looks better than few well known launchers.

Do You Use Any App Stores Outside Of The Google Play Store
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
I'd say some of them are laden with ads. Honestly, I haven't seen any with ads so far and I've downloaded quite a few. -
Oneplus is also coming out with one - I'm relatively certain that none of them will be as good as Samsung's own.

That's exactly why I'd much rather go with a Sony Phone at this point.

Harmony OS has something called MicroG which allows them to install Google Services on their devices.

The problem I have with big companies is that they don't want to take accountability when they screw up. They always try to justify the worst of decisions.

It's true - they treat their workers as disposables. As a matter of fact, most of their delivery workers get fired by a new AI system if something happens along the route even when it wasn't their fault. I'll have to go look up the article from a news report. I am surprised this even flew under the radar.

Could we see Linux as a platform suitable for gaming in the future?
killamch89 replied to Tool920's topic in Gaming Forum
Linux is slowly getting there and it could be possible in the next five to ten years. I wouldn't mind if they could give Windows some competition. -
I prefer Trovo by default and I don't know anything about it lol. Twitch has become such a toxic platform that I wouldn't want anything to do with them.

Do you wait until after early access to get a game?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Exactly but this is a policy I implement right across the board - you can't trust any of them nowadays. -
Yeah - it's usually some 12 yr old telling you about your mom and cursing repetitively or the basement dweller who has no life so acts high and mighty in-game.

Sometimes the themes of the game take on a more subtle role so if you're not really paying attention, some things will fly over your head. That's why it's important that you play the Deus Ex games more than once because you'll notice a lot of things the second time around.
-
Wait - it was free?!

When did you know that gaming was important to you?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Everybody has to find that one game that really draws them in and then they'll be hooked. I do quite a few non-gamers that became gamers after playing games like Deus Ex. -
I'd be more inclined to say FF7 and FF8 because they were both excellent games which introduced some of the mechanics that synonymous with FF games.
