  1. I'm happy to hear that someone actually uses it because almost everyone else here just uses chrome and edge lol.
  2. But that's what I was saying - the original Xbox and PS2 controllers and other other controllers from that era were extremely durable. On the other hand, my experience with PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers have been more or less the same thing. I didn't disagree about the PS3 controllers - I also thought they were horrible but I was highlighting the fact that more recent controllers are far more brittle than most earlier controllers. Of course there are a few exceptions but in general, the quality across the board has really been dropping since the early 2000s.
  3. The fact that you get to see it in real-time instead of having to play other DLCs makes it all worth it.
  4. I used to just let multiple enemies attack me at once without blocking and continuously heal and take potions. And then I'd go get my armor repaired when it was close to breaking.
  5. Back in the old days, we used to try rubbing alcohol on the CD and hoping it'd work 😂
  6. As @Shagger said, I can also see the appeal of it to some people but honestly, it's just not for me either. If I wanted to wipe out the population, good ol' guns and bombs would be my choice of "infection". Maybe throw some fire in the mix and that'd be me 100%.
  7. I also want it to do well but if they're aiming for up to eight seasons, then I suspect some backstories of other characters may be thrown in or they'll go into more details in certain segments that might have been overlooked in the games. Just please for the love of all of us, I don't want them trying to make it kid-friendly - I want to be as gruesome and brutal as the TLOU is in-game.
  8. I also would've liked to see the Archmage of the Arcane University get constantly challenged by other strong mages to prove their magical might and mastery. I'm fairly certain if that were the case, the Imperials would've been able to put up more of a fight against the Thalmor.
  9. I was talking 90s and early 2000s controllers like the PS2 and the original Xbox Controllers and the N64. The Xbox 360 controllers were also pretty easy to damage because they were made out of some kind of toy-like plastic.
  10. It's a grave misconception to think that Daedric summonings don't have their own will. Yes, the summoning is binded by their contract to obey their summoner but that contract can easily be broken if the summoner is naive. For instance, "A tragedy in black" the story in one of the books from Oblivion is a primary example where the summoner got his soul captured in black gem due to him accepting the black soul gem as a gift breaking the contract of binding. The daedric summon subsequently killed him and captured his soul in a black gem. As a matter of fact, it was the elves dabbling in daedric summoning that weakened the barrier between Mundus and the planes of Oblivion. In ESO, the summoning art that we came to know in Oblivion and Skyrim was originally made up of two processes: One to summon the daedric entity and one to bind it. One mispoken word during the incantation of either process and the summoner would lose their very soul. In another ESO book that I can't quite remember, another naive summoner conjured a bound weapon and he was too weak to control it and got killed by it as a result. Fudgemuppet goes into further details about the dangers of Conjuration - particularly Daedric summoning:
  11. I joined the Mages Guild in Oblivion because magic is my natural calling. Necromancy is apart of magic - so let me get this straight, you can summon creatures from the Daedric realm and most people don't bat an eye but you raise one dead body and it's like the end of the world. It's not like I went full Nightking and raising every dead body I come across - no wait, I've pretty much done that before lol. But seriously, the video does have some extremely valid points but nobody has any issues with summoning bound weapons which are Daedra formed into a weapon by the way but as soon as Necromancy is involved, it's a big issue.
  12. That's not really the case - it's just that I have played so many games over the course of my life that I'm not going to momentarily remember every game in detail. There are plenty of games I remember playing at one point in time and beating but other than some important scenes, I hardly remember anything past that.
  13. I personally don't like it - I want to be the one to willingly "pull the trigger" when decisions like that are to be made. It just doesn't feel right when the game forces me to be evil - let me turn into Darth Vader on my own 🤣🤣🤣
  14. I know - just like they don't make the batteries of phones removable anymore so that you'd have to buy a new device instead of spending at most $100 on a new battery.
  15. Can you imagine Mario Sunshine with a dark atmosphere? That'd be the most contradictory game ever...
  16. That's a good point - life really needs a respawn button instead of being permadeath lol.
  17. You clearly aren't reading what I said - I said that Intel's marketshare is shrinking because they no longer sell Apple any CPUs and combined with AMD's increasing influence in the desktop market, Intel is feeling the heat. Not once had I said that they have overtaken Intel.
  18. Need For Speed is bit more on the arcade style of racing whereas Gran Turismo goes for a more realistic feel. Need For Speed isn't quite as repetitive cause you can have things like random cop chases in the open world where you have to devise strategies to escape.
  19. Yeah it was fun and the best part was teachers were unaware we even installed the games on the school machines and we played them when they weren't around.
  20. The thing with most battle royale games is that they tend to be a clone of either Fortnite or PUBG or a combination of both with a bit of changes here and there.
  21. I wish more games would implement a dynamic weather system like the one in MGS V - it makes even the most mundane situations very unpredictable because your enemy can also set traps for you during this kind of weather so you also have to be very careful.
  22. Don't worry, I can't wait for some harassment claims to come out like what happened with Activision and watching them all go under. I have no sympathy for any one of these companies.
  23. Covid made most people weary of gathering in close proximity to a group of other people. That being said, arcades are pretty fun especially with a couple of friends.
  24. Yep and those controllers were durable as hell. Nowadays, if you drop your controller even once, you have to assume it's not going to function properly anymore.
