  1. With AI increasingly integrated into decision-making, one critical question is how we can ensure it operates without bias. What are the best practices for building unbiased AI models? Are there specific strategies, datasets, or approaches that developers and researchers are using to address bias effectively? And is it even possible to achieve a truly bias-free AI, or will there always be some inherent limitations? Would love to hear insights from those working in the field and anyone interested in the ethics of AI.
  2. With AI and robotics evolving quickly, the idea of robots as companions is becoming more realistic. Imagine a robot that can hold a conversation, learn your preferences, and be there for you like a real friend. Would you feel comfortable with this? Do you think robots could provide genuine companionship, or would something always feel "off"? Would you embrace a robot friend, or do you think human relationships are irreplaceable?
  3. Do you prioritize performance, screen quality, battery life, or maybe even a specific brand? Whether it's a smartphone, tablet, or even a dedicated handheld, I’d love to hear what you’re using and how it handles your favorite games.
  4. If you could bring one character from a mobile game into the real world, who would it be and why? Whether it's a hero you'd want to befriend, a villain you'd love to see in action, or just a quirky character that'd make life interesting, share your pick and your reasons.
  5. Do you play at specific times, like during a commute, lunch break, or before bed? Or do you have certain goals, like finishing daily quests or achieving a certain score each session?
  6. For those who've attended virtual classes on their mobile phones, how did it go? Did you find it manageable, or were there challenges with screen size, connectivity, or accessing course materials?
  7. Looking to learn something new or dive deeper into a topic. What’s your go-to app for quality educational content? Whether it's for science, history, languages, or anything else, I'd love to hear your recommendations.
  8. He always forgets when he gets on the pitch. It's like his only mission is to annoy the ref the whole match.
  9. You do have a point. Most of them worked really hard to be where they are and it also depends on the sport you're competing in. Sports with loads of sponsorship deals and one that generates lots of money like American football do deserve a lot of money. On top of that, being hit as hard as that can have a lot of lasting effects that affect some players long after they stopped playing.
  10. Joining an Esports team can be tough, but there’s a general path that works for many. First, you need a high in-game rank, which often gets you noticed by other players and recruiters. Then, you might join amateur leagues, which act as stepping stones to higher leagues. For big games like League of Legends or Overwatch, there are dedicated paths through regional leagues, so it depends on the game too. At least, that's how I heard it. But the main thing is to do well in an online multiplayer title like League of Legends, Overwatch, Dota 2, Counter Strike 2 and others to hopefully get noticed by recruiters.
  11. I did state that a bit earlier but I'm happy for the link to an IGN article and the video with a more detailed explanation.
  12. I'm more of a magic user if I'm being honest. I love casting the Ultima magic spell. I also love using limit breaks particularly Irvine's, Zell's and Squall's. Irvine for when I want to solve things the American way - with guns. Zell when I want combo the living daylights out of someone. Squall for when I want to deliver the ultimate slash to my opponent. I do use GFs quite a bit especially when I'm desperate and I get Doomtrain out. Its animation is both epic and hilarious!
  13. I'd say Mario 64 should get a shout here. It was the definition of a perfect 3D platformer and the one that inspired many after it.
  14. You do have a valid point there. And they do dominate the hybrid console market. I don't know, maybe it's my romanticism with the Gameboy and DS handhelds or the Gamecube and N64 got me wanting a more modern dedicated console or handheld device.
  15. That was my pick as well. I just love how the way his wings flutter as a he flies.
  16. My pick is Ganondorf. His purple and black costume with the cape match his abilities.
  17. I mean, I've done shell replacement and button replacement for Xbox controllers before so no biggie but I've never really modified one. I think I should give it a go.
  18. It's been that way for quite some time too. Unfortunately, it also won't change any time in the near future either.
  19. I remember and it's true - the game was one of the best looking games out at that point. I used to love the watching the cutscenes!
  20. Totally agree. I've learned to conditionally trust someone while in a relationship but once my instincts start telling me otherwise, that's when I become completely cold and distrusting.
  21. That sounds pretty painful! Here's one! I once tripped over my own shoelaces while carrying a slice of cake. I went down in slow motion, desperately trying to keep the cake safe. I ended up with frosting all over my face and a bruised ego, but the cake was saved. Sometimes, you’ve got to sacrifice yourself for dessert, right?
  22. That's insane! Does it feel weird when you do it?
