That's a valid point but the key here is it depends on how they're offering it. You see, trading cards have been around for eons and yet we see nowhere near the levels of addictions compared to loot boxes. The thing with trading cards is that 90% or more of a particular franchise are normally available barring the few legendary cards. In the case of lootboxes, even basic useful stuff aren't widely available.

Epic Games Losing More Than 330m From Free Games & Exclusives
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming News
Free games doesn't get most people addicted. It just lures them to the platform - The problem they're facing is retaining those same people or getting them away from Steam. As it stands now, the Epic Games platform is nowhere as appealing as Steam and if I'm being honest, even GOG has a better platform and they allow you to download and own your games if their servers were to ever go out. -
I mean they do have PSNow but it's lacking a lot of features and games that the Xbox gamepass allows you to have. As a matter of fact, Geforce now is a better offering than PSnow currently.

Sony Hiring Staff To Bring Major PlayStation Franchises to Mobile?!

They did it with one title but I haven't seen them make another attempt as yet so I'm assuming that the competition must be pretty fierce. -
The AYA NEO. The First Realistic Attempt at a Handheld Gaming PC

I get where you're coming from and you do have a point except that this is the first model and they haven't shown any plans to release subsequent versions on a yearly basis so they don't us as much resources as say a Winmax for instance. -
RGB is a huge selling point in gaming devices/accessories despite them not having much use. Trust me, I also wonder about this obsession with RGB. If done in moderation, it's not that bad but the problem is that it's completely blown out proportion nowadays.

Asus Zephyrus G14 Review - More Balanced Than The G15?

Yeah -there are far more powerful laptops out there with actual Nvidia GPUs in them instead of the mobile chip version. They're absolute beasts! -
To be fair, I've never really heard anything bad said about Half-Life games. I've seen hate for the rest barring System shock 2 which I don't know much about.

On another note, we have another contender to the gaming phone arena and it's from Lenovo. Check out this video:
-
They have accessories specifically built for that in the box so you have nothing to worry about really.

Most midrange phones can crush most mobile games quite easily and have ample battery to do it so there's no worries. There are cheaper alternatives such as the POCO phone if Samsung phones are too expensive for you.

The thing is that Sony has their more Premium offerings marketed to content creators and they would appeal to said people because they still use things like the headphone jack among other features that most other Premium flagships have removed such as microSD cards slots.

Well, you can use emulators like PPSPP, Virtual Boy among other emulators on most decently specked modern tablets so you don't really need Raspberry PI for that. Hell, I used to have a lot of emulators on my Nvidia tablet back in the days.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Review - World's Largest Smartphone Camera!

That's where most brands want to be anyways. Look at OnePlus - they've started to target the Premium market a lot more because that's where the big bucks are. -
It's a fact that humanity are one of the main contributors to the destruction of our own planet. We've wiped out countless species of animals and humans continuously have a need to consume without contributing anything back to the good of nature or this planet.

Having Kids are an investment of time - lots of time, resources and it has to be something you're mentally prepared for. I find that a lot of people having kids nowadays aren't mature enough to set the proper foundation for kids.

To be honest, while I do tend to plan and love when things go according to plan, I can improvise when the situation arises. I live my life knowing that anything can happen in an instant so I'm always in a somewhat ready-to-act state of mind even when I go to sleep.

it's possible that it was damaged during the moving process. I've seen how shipping companies handle "fragile" items - Sometimes, I wonder if I was begging them to ship it or did I pay out of my own pocket because of how they treat very fragile items.

No. I was just referring to the fact that the lady who put gorilla glue in her hair was being called a queen and anyone that criticized her was viewed as racist on Twitter instead of people call her what she is - a dumbass.

This was pretty funny but there was some truth in it as well.

To be fair, I do have a couple of shirts with Solid Snake on it and the Metal Gear Logo (I found them again when I went to visit my mother).
