If a developer sticks mostly to the original story but improves on the graphics, gameplay mechanics and fleshes out a bit more of the overlooked parts of the original game and the price is affordable, I'll definitely play that remake. If it's just a minor graphical bump with not improvements whatsoever to the original game and the price is outrageous, then I'll pass.

The white phosphorus scene when Walker kills the refugees is one of the first times in a game I actually regretted my actions. The way how the soldier with his face burnt off pointed at the refugees and you see the remains of one of them holding her child truly shook me.
