I don't know - I agree that the small and thin form factor will mean that it throttles a lot but I wouldn't mind a competent gaming laptop in a smaller form factor.

Chinese companies are now smart enough to clone a device but change around a few things so that they can't be sued for copyright.

MSI GE76 Gaming Laptop Review - The fastest gaming laptop out?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in PC
From the test, it's comparable to its desktop 3080 counterpart which means that it's a solid gaming laptop. The only thing is we've yet to see a Ryzen based laptop from MSI. I'm not sure if they have any plans to do either. -
Another one from Asus that was announced earlier in the year is finally on the market. It's a Ryzen based gaming laptop with 3080 and up to 32GB RAM. What are your thoughts on this?

You know as a massive fan of Q3A myself, I didn't know this game existed. It looks fun but I hardly heard anyone talk about it or talking about it currently so I'll have to do some digging.
-
I'd also go along with strongly encouraged. You want a bit of freedom in your RPs - when they're enforced they have to follow a strict guideline and that makes it less fun.

The only 2-D game I currently play is Final Fantasy Record Keeper for Android and to be fair, it's one of the better mobile games. Yes, it has microtransactions but you don't really need it to be successful. you just have to be smart with your resources.

I'm not sure to be honest. I tried looking it up but I haven't seen anything about that so maybe it's some sort of glitch. Are your currently playing it on PS3?

PS3/PSP & PSVita store will be down in July 2021
killamch89 replied to Patrik's topic in Gaming News
Not really surprised if I'm being honest - most gamers have moved on from these platforms. Other than a select few, most people don't play these games anymore. That being said, I still don't support this move. -
Does anyone here still play Quake III Arena or UT 2004?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Honestly, I haven't played both in ages and it's a shame too because I really loved both games growing up. I used to wreck my friends in Q3A, sometimes hitting them with missiles halfway across the map. I sure do miss those days... -
What game do you want to see come out in 2021?
killamch89 replied to Martin Berisford's topic in Gaming Forum
I'm going to be honest, I'm not really looking forward to anything this year...maybe RE 8 but that's about it. As @m76 says, there isn't really anything that exciting coming out this year. -
How do you cope when you are not playing your favorite game?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
In my case, I find myself thinking of new Skyrim builds and crafting a backstory in my head. Often, I'll actually spend some time writing down some of the ideas I've come up with and add or subtract things until I'm satisfied. Then I'll look up mods and other things to complement that build. -
What it’s like to be a video game voice actor
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It depends on a bunch of factors - some studios prefer that their VA understand the mindset of the character their voicing so that they can perform effectively. Others may provide the VA with a bit more freedom. -
Realistic or unrealistic movement, which do you prefer?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It's the Elder Scrolls universe unfortunately. In the Elder Scrolls universe, the mortal races pretty much descended from the deities so they retain a bit of their power. In essence, it means that even the weakest mortals have can use magical abilities like Levitate (In every other ES title except Skyrim but we have mods for that). So realistic movement isn't really the norm in a universe like this. -
What's the one game you always return to?
killamch89 replied to Martin Berisford's topic in Gaming Forum
I'd say I'm hooked to Skyrim, I haven't put that game down since it was released about 10 years ago and I don't intend to either. Even when Elder Scrolls VI is out, I'll still be playing Skyrim sometimes.
