  1. In my younger gaming days, I used to be obsessed with achievements but over the years. I've grown not to care too much. As long as it's a good game, I'll go ahead and enjoy it.
  2. John Marston from Red Dead Redemption the first game, he was the protagonist/antagonist of the first game. He basically worked with the government to take down his own gang but after he's done that, the government double-cross him to cover their tracks.
  3. That's the problem though, most people don't want to play against the AI. Besides, most planes have WI-FI onboard that you can use during your flight so you can play online.
  4. When you say Rogue-like games, do you mean in terms of stealth or in terms of rebelling against some authoritative factions?
  5. Fallout to some extent especially the earlier games. I can vouge for the Last Of Us and Dragon Age, especially the earlier titles.
  6. I have never owned one but I'll consider it when I get a place with far more rooms. I'd probably get Sega Rally or one of those shooting games.
  7. I miss games with well-made stories and no lootboxes. Nowadays, almost every game has some sort of microtransaction system and the stories are so bland and dull.
  8. There's also Arma 3 and GTA V RP. Those mods are great for roleplaying scenarios and create hours of entertainment.
  9. Deus Ex is a good shout definitely and Tomb Raider. Ghost Recon Wildlands is a great shout for hidden areas.
  10. I do like reading but I don't need books to tell me why video games matter. I can personally see the benefits of video games on my life and that includes, something to occupy my time, improving my co-ordination skills and being a part of a community that shares this hobby (VGR).
  11. I'd say Deus Ex and Skyrim. When I first played Skyrim, I actually found it a bit mediocre with some bugs but with mods, my whole experience changed and I play it till this day.
  12. Doom is the first one that springs to mind, Starcraft and Dark Souls are also on this list. Don't worry about the Dark Souls one though, the board game isn't quite as difficult...
  13. Good to see you finally found it after almost two years. Why made you so interested in this cave in the first place? Was it for screenshots or just the scenery?
  14. I don't currently have one but even if I did want to get one (and I do), the current shortage and scalping prices put me off from buying it.
  15. There are a few games I can think of - Fifa, Madden, and Fortnite. In addition to that, I'd add Cyberpunk 2077 because I had put in a lot of hours into the game up until the hack. I'm certainly not going anywhere near it until everything's good.
  16. It does take a while to get a hang of it - When I first started playing it, I was trying to play it like GTA in the Wild West but I quickly learned it was a far different game. It also has a lot more depth in terms of features compared to GTA V.
  17. So far, all I've heard from their community is that they hate it - I've yet to get a proper argument as to why they don't like it. It's more or less the same with Final Fantasy 8, it's no worse in any department than FF7 but receives way more hate.
  18. Interesting take and the Arkham style gameplay will be good for characters like Batman, Nightwing and Green Arrow because they primarily use stealth-based abilities. Can we really say the same about Flash and others though?
  19. You know I haven't played that game in ages - I even considered modding it but it's going to take some more learning. I have also noticed that their community tends to be very mature and more helpful.
  20. True but the majority still uses Windows because it's more user friendly and is more widely supported by most software companies. I've tried using it before and even some of the most basic commands are quite confusing. It needs to be user-friendly before it can be widely supported.
  21. It makes you realize how inefficient PC builds used to be because we crammed out PCs with all these drives when hardly used them back then.
  22. No sensible PC Gamer I know would use it and that's the point we're making. Linus does it for content but I'm pretty certain under normal circumstances, he wouldn't go anywhere near it.
  23. We know and I agree, it's not going to be my primary Gaming PC either but I'd love it as a back up that I can take with me anywhere. Though to be honest, it's pretty expensive.
  24. We know that we can replace the parts in our PC. However, I worry for the people that buy pre-built systems because they can void their warranty if they try to repair it themselves. Also, it's expensive to get them repaired.
  25. Just like you have external blu ray drives. Most of them are just plug and play so it's not difficult to set up and a breeze to run.
