I hate having to use guides in a game so that is a last resort from me. I'll literally check everywhere (which is time-consuming mind you) to see if I missed any clues and click on random things and once I've tried every other strategy under the sun and I can find it, then I'll consult a walkthrough guide.

Not using items ever to conserve resources
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I'm a big hoarder as well but I tend to find places to stash some of my loot so that I can strategically move them around in-game so that I don't suffer the carry weight issue. -
There was also that other time in Eden Eternal that I went into a dungeon with my Raid team and the two DPS died pretty early in the fight against the major boss and the healer died halfway through and I took down the Boss and the mini bosses by myself and the best part is I ran out of potions shortly after the healer died so I was kiting like hell as the tank. After that fight and word got out about what I did, I was getting invited to all kinds of dungeons because I was one of the strongest tanks around. Hell, my guild even used the footage from that dungeon as a recruitment video.

Unpopular opinion: Games can be for more than entertainment
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The stories that I like are ones that address real-life issues but in a way that it's very subtle and there isn't any propaganda behind it. -
It depends on the game as well as the person making the videos but I prefer the walkthroughs to have some hilarious commentary with great editing but not necessarily overdo it either. Also, I don't want any crappy background music to be playing either.

Random, fun activities in open world games

Honestly this still cracks me even 10 years later... -
Bethesda's modding community needs to be given a portion of any future earnings from games because they are one of the main reasons why so many of their bug-filled games are such a hit.

There could be one team competing and I bet on them and I'd still manage to lose my bet with my luck.

Are you exclusive to any brand of item?
killamch89 replied to The Blackangel's topic in General Chat
I hardly shop for brands - I just shop for what suits my needs and is reliable. Brand loyalty is a very dangerous thing especially if you overdo it because that same brand will try to take advantage of you because of your loyalty *cough*Samsung and Apple*cough*. -
Or maybe try a new book or just try to alter your routine slightly, it surprising what a small change does to your day. Ever since this whole lockdown thing, I've been spending far more time with my dogs but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Animals are some of the best teachers and entertainers around.

You right about Pizza Hut being inconsistent - actually their pizzas have been crap for the last five years so I hardly even order from them anymore. I usually order from my local Pizza establishment where they actually put time and effort into their pizzas. The only reason no one has said anything about what M76 said is because that wasn't the topic at hand but yeah I do also like stuffed crust.

1) Razer's gaming chair concept - Ummm...I'm not sure what to say about this one other than we'll wait and see... 2) Razer's Smart Mask - another one from Razer - for the record I believe that most of their concepts are just April fools jokes because they never usually make them. 3) LG transparent OLED screens - the screen allows you to watch your regular TV through an OLED screen? What on earth... 4) Samsung robots that can fold your laundry and pour you a glass of wine! 5) Moflin the Emotional Support AI pet Robot? - *scratches head and looks around* Which one do you consider the weirdest product and why?

This came straight out of left field - I'm not even sure what they did. It wasn't like Huawei that was stealing technology and collecting our data. This has to be the most bizarre one yet. What do you think of this?

Just as I was considering of jumping to LG from Samsung. I really want LG to stay around and produce some more flagship phones. In all honesty, their phones are really underrated but they don't market their products particularly well and that's why they were taking all those losses over the last 5 years barring last year where they started making a profit. What do you make of this news? Source: https://www.engadget.com/lg-ceo-kwon-bong-seok-mobile-division-exit-losses-094712722.html

I read about this the other day and honestly, we have been hearing about gamers in the news recently and not for very good reasons but this shows the good that gaming can do in terms of bringing awareness to real-life issues and teaching us about the history of other countries. What do you think of this?

Same here. As a matter of fact, those are the people I troll the most just to give them a taste of their own medicine. Even worse, when they get banned or suspended, I keep trolling them until they rage quit.

What video games/series are you loyal to?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The Arkham series is a really good call as well. I wonder if development on the new game has started already because if I'm not mistaken, Warner Brothers did confirm they were working on another one some time ago. -
Most heartbreaking moment in a video game?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Olga was a really complex individual in a very difficult position and she realized that she made a grave mistake and was trying to atone for it. It's a mirror of the faulty decisions we tend to make in very critical situations and then we have lifelong regret because of our own selfish decisions hurt the people nearest to us. -

Accidentally deleted a whole saved file of San Andreas and I was close to 100% completion. Needless to say, I was pretty upset at the time...
