You wouldn't know how happy I was when I killed Micah in my first playthrough. Honestly, Micah is like that one "friend" who you absolutely hate their guts but because of your prior history, you tolerate them until it's no longer possible.

Why would he unfriend you over something that happened in a video game though? -

John Marston betrayed his old gang in RDR 1 and had them killed by the government. He was promised a peaceful like by said government only to be betrayed after everything's done. -

If you know Dominik's backstory, you'd know that his wife he had been searching for was converted into a locust. Because of that, he decided to sacrifice his life to deal a devastating blow to the locust in GOW 3 -
Snake's reveal in MGS 2 was very impactful to me because up until this point, I was really curious what happened to snake.

8k as of right now feels like when they started to introduce 4k when 1080p still wasn't widely adopted as yet either. I'd even go as far as to say that Quad HD is even less adopted than 4K at the moment because most people either buy a 1080p TV or 4k TV. You hardly ever see QHD TVs promoted as much. You only have to look at gaming laptops, the resolutions are either 1080P or 4K. I think Eluktronics is the first company to start pushing QHD panels on gaming laptops and that was just last year!

Where do I begin?! Well Age Of Wushu definitely takes the cake because their was an alliance between the 4 strongest guilds and they were annoying as hell so me and a couple of guildmates joined each of them and start picking fights with the others which eventually led to a massive war on the server. The game became so much fun after that XD -

Snacks, Junk Foods and Fast Foods perfect for gamers

Yeah, I made both of those the other day for dinner. I'm also trying to learn recipes from other cultures such as Indians. -
Alien Isolation and Skyrim

Same here...

Exactly. 4k isn't even widely adopted as yet - As a matter of fact, the most adopted resolution is still 1080p which it has been for over 7 years. 8K is a waste at this point.
-
That's entirely facts. As a matter of fact, that goes for every Elder Scrolls game as well.

I'm intrigued because that's what I thought too - I really need to hear this one. *pulls out chair and grabs popcorn*.

PC is the lifeforce of the universe...wait wrong script...I mean PC gaming is the life blood of the gaming industry. Without it, no games could be developed.

Actually they usually have comparable performance to their desktop counterparts so there's no concern on that front...

The 3080 TI isn't even out yet and it'll be priced around the 6900 XT price range but the fact that it comes with 20 GB of RAM makes it very desirable.
-
Or hide it somewhere safe. That's true for the most part or if you don't have space for a desktop.
-
The 3060 will come out in due course. They were supposed to be released along with the 3060 TI but then it was delayed. Not sure why and Nvidia hasn't said anything else but my guess is it'll probably come out with the 3050 and 3050 TI.

Do you think it's even worth pre-ordering games these days?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Let me tell you a story about a young lad named Killa. Now Killa decided to pre-order a game - Not just any game. Star Wars Battlefront and Killa greatly anticipated its release because of the hype surrounding it but once the game came, Killa quickly realized he had gotten a $5 game for $60 and it turned his heart cold. From that day forth, Killa has never pre-ordered anything ever again without the reviews. The End -
Usually it depends on the game actually. In games like Skyrim, I actually turn it off because it tends to autosave in some awkward moments but in other games like Alien Isolation, I keep it on.

How do you feel about short loops for soundtracking in games?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I definitely prefer full songs rather than looped versions because it really becomes annoying to hear it every 10 seconds. In some games, I actually turn the music off if it starts to get remotely annoying. -
I totally agree with you. Cyberpunk 2077 despite its issues has a very good story and the gameplay is also pretty fun. I'm enjoying it so much right now.
