The commentary from the Goons in Batman Arkham games always kill me with laughter. Like this clip below with the goon taunting Batman - who the hell does that?

If I want to recapture the nostalgia of my first playthrough, I typically either don't play the game for a while and revisit some time after or I play the game in a completely different manner (that's if the game gives you options and doesn't force you down a path).

The problem is, they aren't trying to offer anything unique that Steam doesn't and just paying developer's more money isn't going to make most of them convert to Epic games. The Epic games store itself has hard been upgraded since its release back in 2018 and is still lacking some basic functions that Steam and other stores have.

I must say that this Marvel's Avengers game is claiming more people than Thanos did. No seriously, it's destroying Square Enix's reputation although Outriders is continuing that trend. They just need to kill off this game and be done with it. They'll never recoup the money they invested and that should teach them...or not. What are your thoughts on this?

Sony has been pretty risk averse since lately. It's Xbox that seems to be taking all the risk and making all the big moves. If Sony isn't careful, they may find themselves in Xbox's shadow for a good while.

I agree - Xbox is the one making all the big moves as of lately. Sony is definitely starting to fall behind and if they don't make some big moves very soon, this will be a repeat of the Xbox 360/PS3 era where Xbox was ahead of Sony.

By the decisions they take, you can just tell that they're listening to someone who has never even used any of their products before. It's only when they face a lot of backlash that they come to their senses.

The thing is - those users only are around for the free games. The point of the strategy was to lure them in with the free games and then convert them to loyal customers which isn't the case because these same people still prefer to buy their games off Steam or some other platform.
