I love it but I agree that it isn't for everyone. It's just that when you put a bunch of random people into a game and they have that much freedom it creates a bunch of very unique situations that the single-player experience just wouldn't be able to provide. On the other hand, you'll always have to egotistical douchebag with unlimited pockets trying to claim they're the best when money alone can't save you in these kinds of games. Sure you have access to everything but learning how to use those items will determine your success in games like GTA online.

My sentiments exactly but I'd go a little farther and say real-world politics shouldn't be anywhere near video games because these are the spaces some of us use to "get away from the real world". Unless it's for historical reference, nobody wants to hear about politics period.

Games that are broken messes no one seems to talk about as such?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
I think one of the things that triggered this situation with Cyberpunk 2077 is the amount of outlandish promises CDPR made up to the release and how the game would be "released when ready". The media also is a contributing factor as they have wanted the game to fail before it even launched with all their fake stories and CDPR handed them the ammunition by releasing an unfinished, buggy product. The third factor is that CDPR releases great games (Cyberpunk despite all its bugs, is a great game with lots of customization in terms of playing style as well as story) without bugs so I feel like some people feel really betrayed by them (I can't disagree). If it was EA, nobody would be surprised because they always release buggy unfinished messes so the bar is set quite low for them. CDPR adheres to a higher standard so people are holding them to it. I agree with you and one of the ways CDPR could have taken advantage of this is pull a Bethesda - what do I mean by that? Let the modding community have access to things like the Creation Kit so that they can mod Cyberpunk 2077 and they'd iron out most of those bugs. Fallout 4, Oblivion, and Skyrim are primary examples of this. Without the modding community, these games would be decent at best but the modding community are the ones that made these games become as famous and revered as they are. Ironically, Dragon Age: Inquisition is also another example of this - I know it's EA but this is a similar situation. I'm not saying CDPR isn't supposed to fix the game but by giving the modding community a bit of leeway with Cyberpunk 2077, they could easily bounce back from this. -
Hey guys, how's everyone doing? Btw Merry Christmas when it comes!

Alien Isolation & Rocket League

6 Months could be somewhat realistic as with the Christmas rush, everyone is looking to get special gifts for their loved ones. Once the new year starts, the demand will drop somewhat decrease although their may be others like you that want to upgrade to a next gen console but I know of people who have gotten their hands on PS5s for the market value. Meanwhile, not a single RTX 3000 series card has been available in FOREVER.

To be fair, even though my dogs mainly spend all their time outdoors, they usually don't trouble anything in the house. Training is one way of addressing the issue and another is by packing your console away when not in use and out of your sight.

Oh Ok. I thought you'd make some outrageous stuff like those Star Wars laser guns...

I didn't even know those existed... They actually have some pretty small ones which are "movable". Now don't mistake it for portable because you need more than one person to help you move those things around and you're right, they're quite expensive. That's very interesting. So what else have you made with your 3D printer?

Yeah, I'm aware of a few of them but as I said in my previous post, this is a terrible job to take in general...

Should Broken Games Be Pulled From All Digital Stores Going Forward
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
I kind of disagree. We want finished games - not this give us an unfinished product and then fix it later while paying the maximum price bs. Exactly what I'm saying and the worse part is you have to pay full price for it... Honestly, Indie developers are the ones mainly giving us the finished games. It's these triple A studios that's really responsible for this kind of practice. -
We all know that Nintendo are the ultimate party poopers so they'll definitely do that. That being said, this is actually good move if Nintendo doesn't ruin it. I always preferred PC gaming to console because of all the limitation it has when it comes to adding custom software like emulators. Everyone act surprised when this happens 😹

Ketchup flavored chips are a good one as well -
Yeah, I'm a pretty gluttonous guy so of course I have to know how to cook. Most modern women I know can't even boil water and they're pretty proud of it too. All they want is fast food or ready-made food from the grocery store. They treat cooking like it's taboo when it's such a beautiful art. There's nothing like preparing a meal from scratch and it comes out just perfect!

Tricks your pet knows but you didn't teach it?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
It's funny how the dogs are the ones that require the least amount of maintenance out of all your pets. With almost every other pet, they have to kept under very strict conditions. My dogs pretty much sleep all day unless I come outside and take them for a walk or play with them or when it's food time. My dog Lassie has a habit of jumping in my car when I'm about to go somewhere. Like, the minute I open the Driver's door she just dives right in and gets in the back seat. I have to be like " No girl, I can't carry you with me". She tries to give me the eyes but then she slow jumps back out... Dogs are pretty smart animals - far more than most people realize. They know you better than you realize. If you also watch them very closely, they'll take on some of your habits and tendencies as well. -
It's already taken hold and they'll realize what's happening when it's too late. The politicians have sold their country to China but all they concentrate on Republican or Democrats when it's both that created the situation in the first place. Politicians always use the divide and conquer strategy because it keeps their people distracted and stops them from seeing the bigger picture.

Nope. I can name at least 20 more games. It's actually a good game with a great story but it's the damn bugs that are so annoying. I'm actually enjoying it barring the occasional bugs here and there. I must be fortunate or something because I've encountered only 4 bugs so far outside of the one with the save file which CD Projekt Red spoke about. The customization is awesome and the story is so complex.

Donkey Kong is a legend - you have to get him and Zelda as well...

For me, it's a tie between the N64 and Gamecube. N64 has some of my favorite games like Smash bros, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Starfox 64 among others while the Gamecube had games like Mario Sunshine, Resident Evil 4, Smash Bros Melee etc.

In all of this, I'm just glad that everyone is abandoning Intel because their chips are too expensive and inefficient. Yeah, their performance is what surprised me the most. I though it would take a few generations before they caught up to Intel but they're absolutely roasting them!

Get the SSD, because they load faster, last longer and make far better investment long term. The HDD can go bad at any random time and you really don't want to have to be dealing with that headache so the SSD makes far more sense. Besides, even if you buy a HDD now, you'll have to upgrade it in a few years anyways.

The Ratchet and Clank series is one of the most underrated series since the PS2 days. They usually have such varied and unique gameplay but it never quite got the traction other games got.

I do like the multiplayer aspect of mobile games because it's so easy to get a group together. You just need some sort of software to communicate outside the game such as Discord or Line.
