I agree completely. Repairing your own gaming PC is way easier than trying to repair a laptop and even worse - a console. As you said, the ease with which you can upgrade a gaming PC is why most people prefer it (including myself).

As I covered in a previous thread, that is a lie. The actual reviews have proven otherwise and my previous PC was an Intel based one. I just don't need to overclock anything since I'm going to get the 5950X which is ridiculously powerful already and I want it to last way longer.

I think when they have 5nm processors in early 2022, we'll really see some groundbreaking CPU performance and I'm excited for that.

Actually, the ones from Lenovo has the latest Intel processor along with specs comparable to a typical laptop so it's performance is way better than a typical tablet. I agree that the price is outrageous ($2499 which is bananas) but we know that over time once the tech becomes more standardized, the price will drop drastically. I'd like to see a rollable laptop though...

I've been telling you over the past two years that Bioware isn't the Bioware that we knew from back in the days and with EA's constant presence, it's only going to get worse. Probably some other guy from another division or studio of EA but who knows? All I know is that they won't find any suitable replacement for these people.

My embarrassing moment would have to be playing the original Gran Turismo as a kid and winning a very tight race, I decided to show off by doing a donut at the finishing line. The only thing is, I didn't actually cross the line and my brother ended up winning. Needless to say, I felt like the biggest goofball that day.

I can understand with Red Dead Redemption because most people aren't really into Western games (including myself). It's only because I played the first game that I kind of knew what I was getting into and because Rockstar made it, It'll at the very least, be a very good game with an awesome story.

How did I not remember this? I can't quite remember if I finished the game or not but I always found mission with the bee and the sunflower awkward as hell. Oh the memories... As for the second one, I'm definitely speechless.

I also like the most recent remasters of the Resident Evil games. Reboots are basically games that the main story has been retconned/tweaked as well as the gameplay/graphics updated by the developers and re-released. This is usually done to appeal to a broader audience - usually younger gamers.

I've played many MMOs over the years but the one thing I've noticed with most of them is that they're severely lacking in the character customization department. However, there is one game that has always managed to impress me in this department and it's Champions Online. In Champions Online, you can literally tweak every aspect of your character including their moveset to truly create your perfect character. Today I was re-playing the College Of Winterhold questline when the dragonborn first encounters the Eye Of Magnus, it hit me right then and there. The first thought that came to my mind is that I've seen it in hundreds of playthroughs but what exactly does it do. First off, we know that it makes the controller invincible once the eye opens as in the case of Ancano, he becomes invincible but from the dialogue during the final battle, it grants him near infinite magicka. Secondly, the rest of the College started calling it that the "Eye Of Magnus" when Aren started calling it that and even he was uncertain if that was the original name of the item. I'd like to hear your thoughts on what you think the "Eye Of Magnus" is and where exactly did it originate from?

While going over the recent news about an infamous scalper group, I've encountered this question several times - who's more to blame for this, the scalpers or the impatient ones amongst who can't control themselves. In my opinion, both parties are to share the blame and here's why. Their practices of using bots to secure the stock of an product supply which in turn, creates a shortage to hike prices is pretty scummy. However, the idiots who choose to buy these said products at those exorbitant prices are just as guilty because without them, scalpers would eventually have to resell those products at lower prices due to the lack of a market/demand. What are your thoughts on this?

As a long time MMO fan, my criteria for a proper MMO are as follows: Nearly limitless character customization options so that the characters can be literally what you envisioned. The graphics has to be pretty good - Yes, if I'm going to be spending a significant amount of time playing a game, it needs to look polished. Active fanbase - nobody wants to play a dead MMO where you interact with another player once or twice a day. You can pull all kinds of pranks online (as I used to do with my old pals in Age of Wushu. We were fiercely hunted because of our antics). Somewhat friendly players (they don't have to be super friendly. Just don't be douchebags). Also, I like when the other players aren't easily offended by the slightest thing. I mean, nobody likes a snowflake. Microtransactions kept to a minimum. (This goes without saying.)

To name a few series - Left4Dead. Armored Core, Dead Space, Just Cause and Castlevania. I'd honestly drop Metal Gear and Silent Hill in there as well but I'd want someone else to develop (Konami ruins everything).

So in our daily dose of karma, the PS5 scalper group that claimed 3500 PS5s were bragging on social media that they secured 1000 Xbox Series X. But then karma interfered and the website crash. The retailer in question refunded all payments and apologize to all consumers affected. What I'd recommended most retailers do is put in a captcha system so that the scalpers can't use their bots thus severely limiting their operations. But most retailers don't care as long as they get their money. What are your thoughts on this?

You heard right folks - Both have quit in the last few days. As I was telling @StaceyPowers in a couple of other threads a while back, holding out any hope for Dragon Age 4 to actually be a good game is a dream at best. Most of the staff that worked on Dragon Age over the last decade aren't there anymore and all EA/Bioware care about is profit nowadays. My prediction is that even if the game is released, it's going to do pretty terribly. What are your thoughts on this news?
