Did Pep Guardiola divorce case have any impact on Man City's poor form?

It's life sometimes. That's why you have to pick properly when you decide to commit to something like marriage. Yes, my friend is a bit better now, we had to let him seek counseling. -

Was playing Folklore on PS3 emulator today - I just got a 2TB Micro SD for my Steam Deck along with 2TB memory I installed the other day so now, my Steam Deck has the same amount of memory as my gaming laptop and is a potent emulation and gaming machine.

I’ve been revisiting classic platformers and got curious about Alex Kidd in Miracle World. It was one of the few notable competitors to Super Mario Bros. back in the day, but did it ever measure up? While Mario dominated the NES, Alex Kidd had its own charm with unique mechanics and vibrant visuals. What do you think? Was Alex Kidd a worthy rival to Super Mario in the 8-bit era, or did it fall short in the face of Mario’s legacy?

Atari games have some iconic, often quirky box art that really captures the essence of the games (and sometimes adds a bit of mystery!). Which Atari game cover stands out the most to you? Is it the classic simplicity or the strange, imaginative artwork that grabs your attention?

When it comes to retro gaming, do you stick with the classic Atari controllers or prefer the comfort and functionality of more modern controllers? The original joystick has that nostalgic feel, but modern controllers often have better ergonomics and additional features. What's your go-to for a truly retro experience? Sticking to the old school, or opting for something more contemporary while still playing the classics?

I'm curious if anyone here is part of any dedicated Neo-Geo communities online. With the console's legendary status and the sheer variety of games it had, I’m sure there are some really passionate fanbases out there. Whether it’s for collecting, discussing obscure games, or just showing off your Neo-Geo setups, I'd love to hear where you go for your Neo-Geo fi.

The Neo-Geo was known for its high cost and limited game library, but how did its community continue to thrive in the years following its initial release? Did retro enthusiasts keep the flame alive through niche game releases, underground fan efforts, or through emulation? How did the appeal of the Neo-Geo endure despite its commercial challenges?

I've looked it up but it seems like a decent horror game. No voice acting, text only by the way.

With Xbox pushing more into cloud gaming with Game Pass and their next-gen streaming capabilities, how do you feel about their approach? Are you excited by the convenience and accessibility of streaming, or do you think it still lacks in terms of quality and experience compared to traditional console gaming? Will this shift change the way you play, or do you prefer a more dedicated, physical setup for your gaming?

With the rise of horror games in recent years, do you think Xbox is doing enough to cater to this genre? We've seen some great horror titles on the platform, but are there enough exclusive releases, partnerships, or features for horror fans? Could Xbox do more to make it a go-to destination for horror enthusiasts, or are they falling behind compared to PlayStation or other platforms?

With Xbox leaning heavily into shooters and open-world RPGs, do you think they need more variety in their exclusive lineup? While Halo, Gears of War, and Starfield are great, it feels like there’s a gap in genres like platformers, puzzle games, or even story-driven adventures. What other types of exclusives would you love to see on Xbox, and do you think more diversity in their exclusives would help the platform’s overall appeal?

Do you think the price for official storage is justified? Have you tried any third-party options, and how did they work out? Is the performance on par with the internal drive, or do you notice any lag?

Xbox has an amazing library of games, but are there any genres you think could use more representation on the platform? Whether it’s niche genres like rhythm games or more specific RPG subgenres, I’d love to hear your thoughts on what Xbox is missing. What game genres do you feel need more love, and why do you think they’d be a good fit for the platform?

Nintendo has some iconic franchises, but which one do you think could really benefit from a major overhaul? Whether it's a gameplay refresh, new mechanics, or just a change of direction, which series do you feel has the most untapped potential? Maybe a return to an older style, or something completely new to shake things up?

Do you enjoy the added physicality, or do you find it gimmicky and distracting? Personally, I think it can be fun in small doses, but sometimes it feels like it takes away from the classic gameplay. How do you feel about it? Are you all in for motion controls or do you prefer traditional button pressing?

I've been playing a lot of Nintendo games lately and have noticed that their in-game reward and progression systems are often different from other companies. Whether it's the slow pace of power-ups in Zelda or the unique progression in Super Mario Odyssey, it feels like Nintendo has a distinct approach. Do you think their system encourages exploration and creativity, or do you find it limiting compared to more traditional systems?
