The only grip I've had with this is the cost of the eGPU which cost something like around the $1000 mark which is bloody expensive. Then getting an actually desktop-grade GPU is another cost.

MSI GE76 Gaming Laptop Review - The fastest gaming laptop out?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in PC
The wattage has everything to do with it and also it depends on the 3080 mobile chip in the particular gaming laptop. Remember that you have 3080, 3080 Max-q with three different version and some other variations as well. So comparing them between various gaming laptops, we have to ensure it's the same variation (Nvidia's fault). -
I beg to differ. This came out the other day.

Should the next ES game not be on Tamriel?

I'd be quite interested to know more about the tiger people - especially Tosh Raka. It is said that he's a "tiger-dragon". This particular race is from the Continent of Akavir. As a matter of fact, I'd like to know more about the inhabitants of Akavir as they have some pretty interesting races such as the Monkey people of the Tango Mo and the Tsaesci ( a race of serpent-men and the great enemies of the tiger people). -
I used to play Fortnite back in the early days. It was a fun game with some pretty interesting mechanics and all kinds of wacky events. However, it got pretty tedious over time and I just lost interest in it.

Best places to restock on bolts in Skyrim?

Dungeons are your main source of getting them for free. Otherwise, you can craft them at forges. -
Just when you thought EA and FIFA couldn't get worse... #EAgate

I do that with plenty of other acronyms lol. It's not really a gender thing, it's called a dirty mind and most of us have one 😹 -
This is a very sad state of affairs especially in the gaming industry. As I just stated on another post, "gameplay trailers are very deceitful so I don't really get excited when I see them. I'll wait for the reviews before I can consider a good buy or not." This kind of practice needs to be abolished.
-
This is how I approach most games that have garnered my interest nowadays. Over the years, I hardly get excited by "gameplay" trailers as Anthem and countless other games have taught us to be very weary of them. That being said, it does look like a somewhat promising game.

I swear that every time I play some sort of game with guilds, I always get chosen as the leader or vice leader at some point. I remember when I was in Eden Eternal and I joined some random guild and the leader was about to quit and he just randomly handed me the leader position. Because of the type of person I am, I didn't disband the guild as he wished. Instead I tried to get them to vote for a leader from the members that were there and they still chose me lol.

Does anyone else fondly remember Infocom?

I can't say I have ever heard of it to be honest. Were the game free or did you have to pay to play them? -
Personally, I currently use a pair of Hyper X gaming cloud headset which costs me like $90 when they just came out. As for how much I'd invest in high-quality audio for gaming, it depends.

In-game events that make no sense beyond out-of-game reasons
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
You have a point there. I always wondered why assassins would be after the Dragonborn when he'll save their skins from the dragons. Normally, I roleplay it as some opposing force trying to stop the DB but in reality, it makes no sense. -
Illogical in-game situations that make you laugh?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
That's actually a good question. There's also the games with some pretty ridiculous stories that have you doing all kinds of stupid things that have nothing to do with the story. -
If you work on a PC, are you less inclined to game on one?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It also has to do with the fact that I haven't owned a console in about 3 years. Well there is the Xbox One I gave to my cousin and I occasionally borrow it to play certain games. Otherwise, I don't have a console. -
Now that I checked it out, that seems to be the most logical reason as it states pretty much what I wrote in my previous comment.

Characters that exist in video games but can't be seen

The Riddler in the Arkham games. He presents you with all these different Riddles but you never get to see him at least - well there are posters but those don't really count. -
How often do you save over saves by mistake?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It has happened to me numerous times in older games and boy is it frustrating! I keep asking myself what was I paying attention at the time lol -
This was one of the many choices you had to make in Spec Ops, Riggs was responsible for making many die of thirst but Walker(you) helped him do it. You could either put him out of his misery by shooting him which would be the easy way out or let him burn and suffer.
