Yes they use headphone jack because they produce most of the headphones and the wired accessories. Soon they too will be riding the bluetooth wave like apple does.

I was referring to raspberry pi tablets here considering they seem to have ability to add more RAM unlike most tablets which are kind of restricted to the 4GB at the most.

Brazil Launches Inquiry & Begins Process To Ban & Illegalize Loot Boxes

Yeah the industry related to the gaming needs to be filtered and regulated. Something like that is not done as of now but who knows future this could be done and things would properly move ahead. -
Sony Hiring Staff To Bring Major PlayStation Franchises to Mobile?!
skyfire replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming News
Not bad. There is a lot of money on the mobile. And you can do micro transactions and earn. Nintendo too plans on moving few games into the mobile too. And maybe they already did. -
I wonder if they are planning to reach more platforms with their top performing games. That could be one speculation. I think we are going to see how that goes meanwhile microsoft is slowly control the PC and the XBOX as two platforms in one stone.

I think even the trading cards fall into addiction but they are not gambling. A lot of point collection based games also fall into that but they are definitely not the gambling considering you do get what you want for trading those points. But it can be turned into lootbox or gamble stuff too, both online and offline.

Epic Games Losing More Than 330m From Free Games & Exclusives
skyfire replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming News
Well considering they continue to pour the money and give the freebie means people will sooner or later get addicted. So that is kind of pain if you ask me. -
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Review - World's Largest Smartphone Camera!
skyfire replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
I think xiaomi continues to move from cheaper to premium brand market too fast. I do have their phone and I love it. I hate to see they focusing on only premium in near future though. -
I am sure some of the emulators in near future would also be available on raspberry pi and so you can have it on tablets that allow you to make use of the same.

Most of the SONY products are too much expensive for the output offered. You get far better deal for the money spent on the oppo, xiaomi, tecno like brands. They are also pretty decent too.
-
Well I wont blame them it's the various unions and the modern ultra touch feely people attacking them gender, violence, guns and what not. Sometimes business has to adjust. The moment these game companies become anonymous and accept crypto is the moment things get real and become unbannable.

RGB is the worst thing, not only distracting but utter waste of eyes and long term damage. I would never buy RGB stuff and leave it for kids to buy.
-
Yeah and another thing about it is that the way world is moving a lot of tech is likely to be skipped this year too. So buying such model would be waste of resource as well.

Not worth much anymore because I have not tested their state as of now. No idea about it's price in scrap or those you know recycle type of places. I do however think that some collectible people may get them but not sure.

Epic Games Losing More Than 330m From Free Games & Exclusives
skyfire replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming News
All of this to beat apple, google and steam in their own homeground. I don't know if this is a good thing. I think as long as developers make money nobody would mind. but giving chinese brand head ahead of american (and I am not even american) feels so much unsafe for me or most asians in general. -
Possible that they could be making this story up. But the thing is that semiconductor issue exists in china and japan as of now and has increased cost of tablets, laptops too. So there must be some truth about what director is saying. besides with prices up they would double the profit than 2020, which they already broke with massive sales.

Maybe it's just me. Their logic could be waiting till this pandemic is over. maybe then they could push for expensive games and their backend work. just a guess can't say this could be a case.

1300 be it on amazon or ebay at the best you can get ASUS TUF series based laptops. I kind of find it harder to justify on the price level. it's extremely difficult if you ask from that context.
-
Not necessary, some of the MSI and ASUS builds can pretty much run every game out there. So considering that part they can take what is given to them.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro (2021) Review - Definitely Seems Like A Powerhouse
skyfire replied to killamch89's topic in PC
Except the usage and the premium built. I don't think I can justify price. I'd go for the MSI for this much price. but yeah each to their own. can't really find much for my usage in such premium built for price. -
The mouse resting pad is something I have been thinking about recently. I atleast get one of these for the usage and the handling. I think it works pretty good with the RSI issues.
-
Not everyone wants or needs desktop. people who have jobs that require them to handle laptops will go for laptop. so always going against gaming laptop with comparison of desktop is not only naive but poor argument.

In the times of pandemic and the scalpers hunting every product for making some profit, it seems nintendo is going to get hit too. Found this news that says according to the director of the company there is possible shortage for the device in 2021. https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/nintendo-says-it-has-enough-parts-for-immediate-switch-production/
