If it's like 10 years since a the PC purchase a lot of times other than installing linux there is not much that can be done. That is what I have learned so far.
-
Yes it is meant to take over small devices and not some big gaming devices though. I think at the most they coming into handheld market would be fun.
-
I think still they need minimum 3GB or so in RAM but I have yet to see any news on it being playable on 3GB RAM phones.
-
Yes cases are cheap as it is and those cases lets say even not good enough in quality can work for the projects too.
-
You should post this in the itch.io or the godot or gdevelop forums. The developers who make games over there can definitely make something like that.and assuming it's hard to beat even developers wont be much happy about it. lol.

Yes it seems like considering the asus phone and the blackshark both can be used to play fortnite and so the userbase of fortnite is secure on expensive phones.
-
I wonder if they have raspberry pi stocks or something. Like those can be cheaper than we get from the UKs manufacturing hub. And also UK one is expensive. If you want something throwaway then china is not an issue.

Two Silent Hill games are rumoured to be in development...

I prefer watch and watch approach for this considering unless we see the chance of good plot and the game play. There is no way out of the criticism and the chance of community liking or hating it at this stage. -
I do want to support the developer, if they can option ton choose between ads or pay for it. I prefer that. Ads on the front menu of the game are fine by me. But in between the game experience. I hate it.

Schools don't allow the certain IPs and the games to run on it's wifi. So students use VPN. And if games detect the VPN they kind of ban the students who play it. So that is how it related to the topic.
-
And I think more services into the mix would also add more innovation and also free people from using console or anything. Crossplay would make things easier.
-
I have seen that raspberry pi devices can be made into the arcade games and they can open up new trend of the devices. But not sure if company would take that risk.
-
Yes that seems to be the case. plus their database must be accepting the influencers and streamers first.
-
I am more of waiting for the funds to free me to buy anything. This year and last year is kind of keeping me from spending.
-
I played farmvile, then some bakery game and after that one shop based game. it was fun but eventually got bored of those clones.
-
I think if this idea works with floppy and the USB, then building console that could read the floppy with raspberry pi would be interesting.
-
I checked it and from what I have noticed they are basically dropship site who have cheaper seller in china. So the parts could be refurbished and also the low cost throwaway items who barely passed QA.
-
Raspberry Pi is going to disrupt the space if more and more people adopt it for low cost.
-
A lot of laptops are also coming like that. more expensive and a bit hard to get them repaired.
-
I too think that the green cloth is definitely a good option. And lot cheaper too.

Android v iOS for gaming - which do you think is better?
skyfire replied to DudeThatsErin's topic in Mobile
Apple is just closing itself worse than microsoft ever did. And the android seems to be pretty good for the people who like games. So I can see the shift this year. -
Some of the games in the paid category of the google play has no in app items.

I think in near future who knows windows even may make use of the Linux natively inside which they are already trying out. So yeah it wont be just windows vs linux anymore. and many gamers who use linux would use windows too.
