Have both. I think you would benefit from a lot of indie games if you choose the PC. And console is already a winner for it's own platform supported games. PS 5 would be having a lot of interesting games on it and some PC based games wont work there. So have both.

I think case a lot of local hardware repair stores can come into that category they must have some of the old consoles lying around in their place.

These days I am making use of the Calm app. And when you have various sleep sounds, lectures and the sleep stories in it. You fall asleep without much thinking of the world around.

I don't know but if you can make some fantasy and the FPS level game out of stardew valley that would be super awesome. I mean those universes have capacity to become a good game.

A lot of strategy games that are ported on Linux if I am not wrong. So that could be possible to play those games under Linux. It won't be that hard from what I have seen so far.

Yep and that still makes you PC gamer. Windows and Linux both come under PC. Only Mac is alien.

A lot of interesting steam and itch developers lately making some good games. While checking out those trailers on forums. I came across the narita boy trailer. I wonder if switch gamers would like this game.

Fantasy adventure games are not less in number lately. A lot of those switch games are out there in the market. I have found skyforget to be one of the good ones that are going to be on the switch. They seem to have made pretty interesting trailer too.

Old arcade style is getting rare but there are some indie developers and studios still working on it. Here's one such rare styled game that I have found out. Not sure if people would like it but I kind of feel like revisiting the old times.

Yeah but many other game dev studios and others have continued with new virtual events. I think they saved money last year and this year may not be grand either.

Yeah AC and few other games can take up a lot of time and money too. New games are not optimizing for disk space anymore.

EU is turning out communist union it seems. I understand there must be laws on things like that but illegal geo blocking? i mean developer don't even have choice where to release exclusively? lol

I am looking forward to it. though I am tired of the remakes and the overall games are kind of rehash if you ask me. But I am kind of loving how some of the good games are coming out lately.

Maybe this could be one way to get the money out by telling the insurance company they got hacked. this has been used too many times by many studios.

I don't know where the games are going thse days but remakes are kind of boring. I guess they realized that part i suppose.

Same my old laptop has the Ubuntu Linux 20.04. It seems like a good laptop for my casual tasks.

This is a good enough spec for few more years. I think 16GB works things smoothly this year and few more years. But as your games increase in power you may have to push for the higher specs.

I think you can play some of the PC based games if they are supported under crossweavers. they seem to be supporting those games which can run on both PC and Linux.

Yeah it's kind of full of tough levels at some points. same with little nightmare, you have to take your time for completing them.

I'd say a lot of good horror games and the psychological games are best for the survival genre. Take example of the little nightmares, which is a good survival horror in puzzle platformer mixed genre.

I have to agree no one good game. But there are some game universes worth trying out. and each year or decade you have few good games to explore too.

That would be computer brand though not retro game store like OP want. I think retro game shops around the world are closed or now part of the hobby stores.

I think for me that has to be the age of empires. Age of mythology was another most played game. I think I have a lot of hours of the strategy games.

That is like opening a can of illegal games into the market. in no way it is esports and the worst part almost every game of that type is pre rigged to begin with.

That would make it second year of such virtual events. Last year they did some virtual events too if I am not wrong.
