Google shuts down internal Stadia game studio
skyfire replied to Withywarlock's topic in Gaming News
Here are some of the projects killed by google. it seems like that company has knack for innovating to destroy things. stadia would die same death. https://killedbygoogle.com/ -
As per market, the switch and switch lite are the most sold these days. So they seem to be pretty popular and favorite console from the Nintendo. I do however think that some consoles in near future from them would make the cut.
-
Lets say if they do release it on other platform, they would loose their own platforms exclusivity. I think some games they can earn more for on android but that is all for that release.
-
I think if they can keep the humans engaged in the VR world, the product is successful. otherwise just keeping the casual 2D level stuff wont make that product any good enough for the long term. it has to be engaging and more needs to be done for VR world.
-
PCs do offer more power and experience and it is upto us to push that power too. a lot of times low end PCs can be limited. and so people use consoles to counter that limitation.
-
Yeah they didn't even bother following up the product updates. this is one reason I don't trust the google for any innovation. they are not worth trusting your business over.
-
I think there are plenty of Chinese made companies which are fly by night and they have released switch like consoles which are cheap. they can get damaged any time.
-
I hope so. I loved the game to be honest. I just don't see the franchise reboot unless they come to console and android with microtransactions.

Google shuts down internal Stadia game studio

I never trust google for any serious work. they are just focusing on the paying projects and everything else they make if it is free, it dies. such project has now being featured in google graveyard. a lot of good projects died because of their attitude. -
I am not aware of your gaming preference but this one is good enough for weekend play.
-
I have played some of the itch.io games which are web based and also few of them are desktop based. also recently played oddmar on android. I like platformers and the 2D RPG games.

I think must mid of 2000 to 2003. I guess full on PC gaming started that time, before that I had mostly the console shares and it was kind of slow for me to go on full PC mode.

I would say ipads as a gaming device is nothing short of the destroying your money. In case of the android tablets, you should be thinking of them as gaming device and i think ipad is more or less a good designer and creators device.

This is true. most of the gaming phones are bulky and not really good premium design phones. I think that balance is harder to achieve.
-
I think though you can use emulators. I think for phones it's always better to go with what is new instead of chasing classics. the reason being a lot of classic may or may not be easy to port.
-
Yeah if it's free then soon they are going to add some ads or the microtransaction soon enough. we are going to see for sure.

MOBA games. I love playing those games and I am waiting for the Wild Rift which will release in May 2021 I suppose.
-
I don't expect Sony and Nokia to be in gaming phone space. They are restrictive of RAM for their models and you need a lot of RAM for the gaming phones. So I think there is less chance of those two companies coming out in that market. It would be difficult for those companies because they push their assumptions than asking the market.

Rollable phones: better alternative to Foldable phones?
skyfire replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
Yeah pretty much. I started hating xiaomi when they got rid of the charger. I heard they plan on doing the same to the audio too. -
There is a news that says Tesla can run the cyberpunk. Goes to show how much marketing was strong for the game. lot better than the game itself.

Do you think Amazon can be a good publisher/developer?
skyfire replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
I think they are yet to get any good game in their belt. Like most of the other game studios who pump the work all the time but could not get the game on market properly. so amazon have to find their first win as far as gaming is concerned.
