What do you think is next for the Spider-Man games?
skyfire replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
I think since the avengers have launched they have kind of ignored the spiderman verses. And the worst part is that venom is something that was low budget for them. -
IRC still exists in some of the apps. And there are people keeping it active. But the thing is that nomore people stay on those type of the chat rooms. Discord is replacing it. I wish discord adds the IRC support.

Yes 2017 was the year when they said, the last functioning version would be released. And 3 years lifecycle time for it. And chrome and firefox got rid of the flash from the browser from the 2019. And they dont show the flash based sites these days.

I liked the concept too. And that is one reason i shared it. There seems to be a lot of interesting concepts from japanese these days in the games.

Streaming is even possible with the i3 based processors too. It's just that I prefer to avoid buying i7 etc for the price issue but internet is the bigger component there.

I do most of the youtube videos through gaming computer. As the more RAM and the graphics card in it can handle the video editing and the exports pretty well. So this way the laptop can be handy for multiple work.

Indeed when you live in rented and shared places, then best option is laptop. In fact when in shared scenario it is better not to keep the laptop with you.

Mostly mobile games now a days. And the thing is that video games during the off hours are pretty much requirement now considering a lot of us have the free time due to this pandemic.
-
Lootboxes are also spinned in a way that you can't notice the gambling. Like say they ask you to collect some fragment with daily login, then they open some box on some specific day by taking money from you. They have a lot of such complicated theories.

I think short adventure games can have story too. But it depends on how they have designed the game. Often longer adventure games lack the depth but shorter can be in depth but finish depends on our quests.

Did you ever insist on finishing a game you couldn't stand?

I think last year 2020 had a lot of such instances. and had to give up on few. Not sure what the 2021 is going to bring from here onwards. I personally have found out it's painful. -
Not sure how much of this game would fit in OPs requirement.

I am glad that finally flash ended. I always wanted to keep flash away from the computer. It eats memory more than chrome. not just that those games had a lot of security issues too. like keyloggers etc easily embeded into the browsers in past with them. Most of the games made in flash are now moved to the HTML5 and onwards.

I have realized during the pandemic that unless I have a backup PC, there is no need for stretching the device 24/7 and also need to reboot or shut down every now and then.
-
I think for small app it is fine. I have been checking out their small apps and also premium apps. not that bad but not worth it for gaming from what I have seen.
-
I have same issues, I have ASUS TUF laptop and gaming is pretty average for me because of the internet. it is not fault of the laptop though. it's just not enough for me. I need better broadband.

Totally agree on cleaning part. Another point everybody missed is that even room temperature makes your processor go aww.. then imagine cooking chicken in your desktop tower. -
Most of the modern video games get finished in hours though. Unless there is any difficulty for you or more things to explore.

Never played quake on xbox. but played it on PC. I think I'd stick to playing the battle royale and FPS on the PC. For me that works out just fine.

How long does it take you to play a game compared to other people?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
I think it depends on the game. Some I get on pretty quickly but for some require a lot of time. I just can't do that easily. I am thinking of attempting to learn one of the mobile game recently but it is not that easy. -
You are given $100,000 to make a video game. What will you make?

I think return to castle wolfestein attempted that, they created project IGI with horror theme in it. kind of worked but later sequels of their games turned out to be flop. I think such storylines if created can work out. -

This was bound to happen when one studio designs game assume everybody is rich with memory and HDD and then things start crashing. -
