I think content wise it is okayish and there are some of the specific type of crowd that loves an even appreciates such type of the game.

Breaking bad and better call saul type of the stories can be added to GTA type of the games but they on their own are more of drama than the action.

There are some online sites for the emulators which you can take a look into. I am digging into a lot of old ROMs as well. Maybe you should check that out too. You can also use streamlabs to stream into multiple sites. Who knows which platform may work out for you.

If you are into quest based adventure game then you may find the Ghost of a Tale game pretty interesting and worth playing. Graphics is pretty cool as well.

I am sure the ideas that ghibli and few other studios from japan have on the center of the earth. They can make up a good universe of their own as well.

I think there are literally too many titles out there but resident evil and silent hill getting more mainstream treatment makes people forget about other games.

I don't want them to sell games but I do want the arcade boxes come back. And game developers making the games specific for those boxes which should not be sold in any other places.

I think infinity stones and end game were two movies that kind of boosted the franchise. And to such extent that games were about to get the same treatment and it did to be honest.
