What for you is the appeal of violent video games?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I think for me violence is getting my frustration out. Spending hours in type of work that I do a lot remain creditless, a lot gets rejected and a lot of time it's nothing but burnout. So violent games get that frustration out on creatures in it. -
They were pretty much dominant MMO until they stopped innovating and making changes. And all things fade away when you stop innovating.

If I am not wrong, 'Gods and Monster' is DC's one of the animation 3 installment episodes and comics too.

What are some things that make you suspect you won’t like a game?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
That would be like 90% of the games in 2020. Most of the mainstream games in the industry are multiplaer and lack the narrative as well. -
Do games push loot boxes and micro-transactions too much?
skyfire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Most of the modern games have one component of the microtransactions and loot boxes in them. They make money that way, which si kind of sad if you ask me. because they earn more money than the can spend their lives making someething innovative. -
I think the time spent on MH:Iceborne is also worth it. Like something new to learn and experience in fights.

I think RAm is also issue fortnite like games require 6GB of RAM on android mobiles and the size of the game is another issue as well. -
You can try out "Viking defense' which is a tower defense and my favorite. Loads quickly and also worth playing in off hours. Then there is - canyon defense, garden panic and castle rush as well.

I think terraria and minecraft can be good option for spending few hours. Once the Pokemon Unite, you can also play that as well. -
I dont think it would need like 100 or so hours to spend. few hours of gameplay would satisfy you.

I can't imagine keeping my body sane with 50 hours straight now that I am in 30s. I guess I need small sets of the clash based games to enjoy and being sane on physical level.

Do games push loot boxes and micro-transactions too much?
skyfire replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Yes and the thing is that they are trying to milk the cow more than they even innovated. I mean look at the poor graphics and the low file compression innovation on developes part. Instead of low size and high graphics level innovation, their innovation is in pay to win lootboxes. -
Limbo and Little nightmares both are into the same genre I guess. And I recently posted a thread about little nightmares 2nd version. They are survival puzzle. Not your physics puzzle though.
