For me a lot depends on the game. Some of the time normal mode is what I start with and if it's too easy then changing the mode is lot better idea. This is with or without the context of the skyrim.

I think trend for the zombies has been changing. We no longer have pure zombie chase like the house of dead type islands. But now a days we have some of the stories in the zombie games which is a good thing.

I am sure I am not the only one who feels like rage quitting when they see the SJW guy or gal in the chat. Or say even in discord server. I kind of quit and move on if I find one in the multiplayer chat.

Games that bored you at first but eventually won you over
skyfire replied to kingpotato's topic in Gaming Forum
For me PUBG seems to be on and off when it comes to the gaming hate and love. I kind of love playing it when I have friends around for me to play the game otherwise it is nothing but waste of time and I start to hate it. -
So did you liked the Sekiro?

Should microtransactions and loot boxes be banned?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The balance is harder to achieve on how much microtransaction is a good amount. I think items can be made in the list but there should be no pay to play the round. -
In day time you need specific amount of light to see the screen in case of the night, you need different set of frequencies and the light from the device. So such apps control that part of the settings. That's why they are getting popular.

Gaming has made me a better decision-maker IRL
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I think gaming makes us think from different perspective. Like say we always try to find other options to solve some of the problems in our hand. And in such context I'd say that real life is lot different but thinking from different perspectives is a good practice to build. -
I think normies do have a point though. There are increasing the rehabs for the gamers. If normies were to be wrong all the time, there would be no such thing as rehab for the gamers. But we live in a world where gamers do suffer.
-
I think this is definitely a good point for the gamers, not all the time they consider taking break suffer burnout and able to think from the fantasy perspective is a good thing to some extent.

Does anyone else care more about story than gameplay?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
Story does matter. Especially if you are into playing the campaign based single player game. I am into those type of games, so the story does matter. That's one reason I prefer Age of Mythology over the Age of Empires. I think story based games are rare these days but they are worth spending time over. -
So I made this thread on Until dawn which has choices in the game that changes the final outcome. You can check that game, if you are replaying the game, then make small changes in choices options. And see the different outcome.
-
So I remember this old game which has choice based ending changes. Also it has different game scenarios based on the choices that you make. It's a good game for those who are into the horror or say survival based games. Check out the gameplay and see if something like this you love playing.
-
I guess I have to make one I guess. I will open that thread. And will link to the gameplay of that game. It's a good game so worth checking out.

What do you want to see from video games the rest of this year?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
I am currently looking for anything in mobile that has few weeks of gameplay for me. I am also looking for new horror game titles. I didn't see any good ones this year. Hoping to see some good survival game too. -
I remember that some of the survival games often forget the angle through which we can kill the enemy. They also forget the AI detection in many context, so you get to kill the enemy easily. So I think some mistakes are often intentional.

I agree almost every gamer, developers, writers these days have developed the spine problem. And exercise and walking is a must in such case.

what do you focus on in multiplayer games
skyfire replied to TheSteelyardDweller's topic in Gaming Forum
I think in case of the multiplayer games, depending on the genre of the game demands and focus would be different. In case of online league based games like LOL, I'd say focus shifts in battle royale too. So I think for me personally placement and the time matters. -
I'd say even the until dawn is a good survival game. Not sure if I made thread about it here. It is the game based on the windigo creature. And it has choice based options which has alternate ending.
-
I wish to see the battle royale trend ending this year. I mean I am tired of seeing all the games jumping into the battle royale. It is getting boring each day now. I hope some other concept comes up.
-
After the movie release, I am sure there will be dedicated fanbase from this generation. The way the animation was created. I kind of hated it. And I don't think the franchise cares for our opinion on that design though.
-
Yes E3 can be one possibility. But there isnt much information about the release and the possible reveal. I guess they want to play the typical suspense based teasers before the reveal trailers in E3.
-
I think battle royale format is popular among youth and the reason being the games are quick and it keeps you engaged while playing the same. I have seen people avoiding other formats this year.
-
Well thank SJW for that. I think they seem to be taking us towards socialist or the communist society that controls freedom of speech yet they preach about it. I hate to see gaming industry dying like this.

Mostly scrolling shooter and jumper types. I have not yet released either one of them. I mostly do it for my own fun and boredom. I think if I can get enough money for android export license. I would surely release it as an app game.
