has gaming made you appreciate history?
skyfire replied to TheSteelyardDweller's topic in Gaming Forum
Most of the time the history in the gaming, netflix and cartoons is pretty much rigged for their own benefit. I don't consider those sources as credible source of history. I think it's a problem to rely on it for data. -
Addiction with gaming can be brutal though. There are some rehabilitation camps that are reporting how some people got into debt due to gaming and acquired other addiction and health issues. So I won't write off gaming as any less serious.

Most of the tower defense specific games look good. And they seem to be good for the playing or say grinding upto certain objective. I won't say they are always better though. But some games are designed to be slow, grinding and better on freemium games.

I think gamers being lifeless applies in many context. But not for all though. I know people who are like always playing the games on mobile and the PC. On second note, you have trophy unlocked.

Yes, watched few of the gameplays and based on that I agree. Though I'd wait for some of the guys here or on twitch to completely review it and give verdict on whether it's purchase worthy or not.

Should microtransactions and loot boxes be banned?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I agree on that part. I think just like how some mobile games add the powerful hero and the premium levels on microtransactions, it can be all good. I mean just pure elixir and gold purchase through microtransaction may not help them earn revenue from game. -
The trailer definitely looks rad. And so I am looking for atleast 10 minutes of gameplay. Anyone have managed to find some influencer or someone who got the leaked copy so we can see how it is in terms of gameplay?

House of Dead 2 and 4. I found them not much impacting me in terms of that excitement. Though I'd say new sequels were good. Though some sequels like overkill managed to attract a lot of game fans back into the game. But some sequels were boring though.

In past games were lot more one dimensional in their approach. They had less issues with the complexity on the navigation of main character. Now a days the game developers make it more of about choices than a story.
-
God of War definitely comes into mind in this context. And so does the other games like shadow of colossus, final fantasy 15, darksiders etc. I think there are many others but these days many games are losing their story side of things.
-
I think you need to contact the support department of the game. And you have to explain them the problem more with say some sort of screenshot. This way they can find some solution for you. You have to get in touch with that team.

I am glad you liked it. It seems the mojave and microsoft has different plans for the minecraft server and the overall gaming. I think they want to bring new players and keep the ecosystem running as well.

Not bad TH 6 that much quickly is definitely a lot of grind. I managed to take the TH to 10, and now I have abandoned the game. And I don't see much value from the game grinding anymore. So not continuing it.
-
I am just skeptical of it because it's from google. We never know when they can push the end button to the project. So until they make money with that there is no chance in saying that it could close down.
-
Yes the developers have more burden on them on what to launch and what to show. I guess we are going to see what may appear in the game at some point though. Either way I don't think it will ever be released.

Days Gone Zombie Survival Game Releasing April 2019
skyfire replied to skyfire's topic in Gaming News
The game is now released with mixed set of reviews. I am not surprised that you viewed the ad of the game. I think some people didn't liked the "walking dead" like story of the game. It was just worth playing once though. -
Should microtransactions and loot boxes be banned?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
If the game has expansion and some of the needy levels where you have specific need for hero or his upgrades. I don't think there is issue with microtransaction in such case. If the game is free and upgrades cost some money, I don't mind pushing for microtransaction either. I think some games have to consider that chance for revenue, nothing wrong with that. -
I have one account with the Microsoft OneDrive where I store most of the keys and the saved games. And then there is Google Drive which I use for heavy lifting of patches and big games. I think dropbox is too small so not worth it. And saving on cloud is always worth it.

I remember checking some of the MK type clones in chinese games. But that was chinese colony where there was one such arcade box. I don't think those games would be portable to english or so. But those games were pretty much in same line to that of MK.

I am considering checking out the Rage 2 if I get some time for the gaming now. I am pretty busy this week. Maybe second week or so of next month I can play games in peace with less interruptions.

How much structure/rules do you like in MMOs?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Open world wise lot of good games are coming. But with battle royale, most of the structure and the flow and even the design is not much taken into important context. Something like that can be bad for the gaming industry. Like with battle royale, there would be less good graphics in games now. -
This month I have not spent much amount of time in gaming. I have mostly checked the gameplay and the streams. I am kind of stressed out so taking things slow and not much spending on games.

It used to be flash games in the past. But now they are hosting the HTML5 based games. And they have managed to put up a lot of free games. Nothing is paid there from what I know. It's worth playing few free games there.

Gaming from the YoYogames can be pretty easy. But I find it harder to make the 3D quality games from it. I mean you need better engine for those type of the works like say cryengine or the realengine.

I think burn out happens for me every now and then. For example it happened recently and I had a lot of issues with headache and depression with other matters in real life. So taking break often helps out. Gaming can be too much stress.
