  1. Data can;t be moved for us. We have to do it on our own. They give us some XML sort of file. And also images are stored in the google photos. So we just have to use that as a backup and even move to the Google drive if required.
  2. I think if more and more network games come in then yes the multiplayer limitations will prevail as you say. But I don't think that may be a condition for most of the people. They are kind of happy with what they have got so far. That's what I have learned from the process so far.
  3. I have seen that some of the humble bundle prices are good too. Now that they have started to have the games apart from the bundles. so it seems like a good place to watch out for new games as they come into the market.
  4. 499 sounds like Christmas offer. Who knows they could get it released during the Christmas and it may surely work out during that time. I have not tried it much though, but yeah we will see that in near future.

    PS2.

Well you can expect the new boxes to be better now. Plus we have steam and other things on new boxes. So you are not losing anything as much. Plus the Xbox is always an alternative if you are not able to play that way. Same can be said about the nintendo.

    PS3 worth.

I don't think the box would get sold now for anything over 50$. It is one of the old boxes now and there seems to be lack of games that you can play. And over that new games like fortnite and PUBG etc are not even worth it with the old box. So I think it's time you move on from this box.
  7. I try to use VPN in case if any specific game company tries to collect my information. I also make sure to use the details which does not track my card and other information. For example, I use the disposable cards which do not track my details. Also I try to avoid installing those games which require 10 other things as dependency and download something on their own. That is what I avoid whenever possible. Some android games also collect a lot of information, which I try to avoid and usually tell other gamers about such games.
  8. For me every weekend I try to clean both laptop and PC. And also any other thing that I have with my desktop. It helps if I can make use of the machines for blowing the dust off the devices. Most of the time I tend to face the issues with the dust. And it can be easy to clean off every now and then when the dust comes in. That's what I mostly try to do these days clean it to avoid it being damaged.
  9. If you played No man's Sky, you'd find a lot of things to do in open world in that game. For example, you may find that there are random trees that you can destroy. Some creatures on some dwarf planet that you can kill for no reason. So it can be fun but also extremely boring as well. I'd say that if you are into open world stuff, that may be something you may also enjoy if you like wasting time in space.

    AMD Build

I am not sure if you have gone with AMD build considering it's been a while since you posted the thread. I'd say that wait till May when the new graphics card stock is coming. You may definitely find new NVIDIA card that may be good for few more years of gaming. I think if you have decent budget in such case then you can also upgrade and downgrade as required as well.
  11. I'd say any modern game in FPS category can be good for the gaming. You can consider anthem, which is new and also good at gaming. Another good game to test out is the Resident Evil 2 remake. You can also try out metro exodus. Most of these new games are pretty much high on 3D graphics. And may even require you to have new graphics card on your side for proper experience.
  12. It can be fun playing chess, ludo, dragonquest, heroquest, and other board games. The thing is spending time with other people. I always find some time for some weekend games and the fun times to spend with other people. It's the time that we can never get back. And spending all the time on games often don't give us that much joy. It's the joy that is limited in nature.
  13. I am not sure if you guys have it. But the place I am right now we have this senior citizens weekend game days. They tend to play some of the board games. And it can be fun when they do that. They are also into carrom and other similar games. It seems like they love playing those games because it does not hurt them much. And they kind of have better experience with the people around being social. Have you experienced some of those board game weekends or nightouts?
  14. I have upgraded to the Windows 10 recently. And I am trying to learn how to make use of the new things and also learning how to add those old emulators and console on my system. I wonder how some of the users who want to play games on emulator makes use of the Windows 7. I heard that Windows 10 is not that good with the emulators. So I am wondering those who play games purely on emulators, have you upgraded to Windows 10?
  15. I have daily 4GB limit for the mobile. And next day the limit is reset. I tend to make use of the phone only for the social media and some of the times. Most of my games are small so they don't consume much energy. I am trying to find out if the mobile consumes the most data. I want to know if the spending time on mobile is fun and one can have less data consumed for most games. I am guessing it is purely dependent on the games. What do you think, how much data do you spend on mobile?
  16. There seems to be not much information out there in the internet on how one can become the esport gamer. And what are some of the ways to monetize this profession. And I am wondering how the people are making money in this profession. Is it purely on the basis of the streaming? Or say youtube? or twitch? Or maybe merchandise selling? or maybe even the gaming company signing them up for some sort of deal? How do they make money in such type of the business?
  17. I think people who are addicted to gaming tend to have effects on the family. And their careers and the overall family experience gets affected from what I have seen so far. It can get pretty difficult as well. In that context you may notice that there is always going to be difference in opinion. So I think gaming has impact on many people so we have to be pretty careful about things.
  18. I am fine with flatscreen too. I don't have much interest in the curved screen. It does not tend to add any form of value for me. It can be at the best make things a bit fancy in some context. And another thing is that flat screen monitors tend to have much better display compared to the curved as the curved edges have more glare in some cases as well.
  19. I think most of the FPS shooters can be difficult. Castle Wolfestein, Pamali were some of the challenging games because you had to run trying to save yourself and also shoot the people around. So that kind of made it harder for many to play those games. I' also had some of the challenges playing those games. And the old CS was also difficult as per my experience.
  20. I have one virtual machine on Windows that is designed for such purpose. I try to install most of the games in it. And play the games. Most of the modern games work on it. Some may require more RAM. And so playing them can be pretty much harder and I have to find out alternative machine. But that said, I think some game demos are worth having as well.
  21. I think it's kind of hard to find out games that can replace CS original game. It was one of the classic game that had some really nice action compared to any modern games. It strictly relied on the instinct and focus as well. So I'd say that best shooter game that we can think of is CS.
  22. I guess more people outdoor is a good thing. But that may also create more social problems as we have seen in the past. I guess more people playing video games and spending time on internet made them weak. That's what I can say from this context.
  23. I think FPS games tend to be bad once you get over 30 and onwards. Because it requires your energy and focus. Which gets low as you move ahead in age. I have also noticed that those games which require quicker focus is going to be out of your control too. So as you age you should be more solving the puzzle and mystery type of the games. That's what I have learned.
  24. I like the side quests too. In fact I like the tangent choices in game which changes the outcome of the game. Those type of the games definitely make sense for the side quests and effective gaming experience. I think the resident evil remake with side question of survivors of the racoon city was good as well. I don't know if we have to consider it as update or the mod or the side quest.
  25. I personally have not faced any such while playing the game. I am guessing the lag experienced in the PUBG and the Fortnite has something to do with it? I am guessing many chinese players tend to do DDOS in order to win the game. I am not sure how the attacks affect in the game as well. I guess such things often happen when the gamers prefer cheating over fairplay.
