Let's start Discussing About Ethics in Gaming Journalism
skyfire replied to UleTheVee's topic in Gaming News
I was recently checking out one Gaming news site named "Polygon". It was one of the pretty bad sites out there. And those sites had pretty disturbed views with their SJW journalism. I kind of hated being there and reading all of that. I don;t know how the gaming companies can even afford to have such SJW extremist news and content to support it? I have no idea where things would be with that. -
Do you tell yourself stories about your game characters?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I was in fantasy type of thinking in past. And I used to think about being a game character. Or being in that fantasy world. Then life happened and then I started to only keep game where it is meant to be. It can be sad to see we can't be in fantasy world of games and live happy. Utopia is that world for a reason. And people just tend to learn from what life throws at us. But yeah I love those time being fantasized about such world and being a hero. -
How much time do you spend on your character's looks?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
These days I am also into that sort of mode. I am kind of lazy. I just make sure I use some of the characters as is. And focus on getting the game cleared. This seems to be my approach for years so far. I know it can be pretty tough either way. But then in such case we have to focus on gameplay instead of characters and aesthetics. -
Indeed. People are so damn sensitive. And the issue that they are trying to portray women as strong by increasing the restrictions on men. In nature that is not how one becomes strong. But then again this generation is so weak they won't survive the war if it happens. they cry if they don't get games, iphone. Winning two and three games is like being prime minister type achievement for them.

I used to spend a lot of time chatting on discord. And also made a lot of friends. Some of them are now on email contacts too and on facebook. But what I have learned is that gaming chats often lead to arguments too. And those arguments and spending time trying to discuss stuff with people does not lead to any proper resolution. That's how things are going to be working if you want to be social and avoid arguments.

I think those gamers who have crossed 30 needs to be careful about consuming energy drinks and soda. Because they can end up getting blood pressure, diabetes and other health related concerns. And something like that needs to be properly adjusted as well with medical care. Energy drinks are good if you are under 25 but after that it is better to think about the health.

I think 599 USD would be too costly considering more and more people are moving towards PC. It can get you lot better PC at that cost. So it can be pretty interesting to see how market responds to that price rise though. I think having better configuration is going to be the attractive part. And so that's what I am looking for to justify higher price.

You can download the live.me app and the find the "skywitch" user. You can then check my profile for the streams. You can also start streaming your own on that live.me app. Twitch is where I have not much active so far. I guess I may have to work a bit harder on the streaming side to see where things are going.

I'd say if it's pure shooter without much story and pure violence then Serious Sam and DOOM are two good options. But those games tend to get less hype from the gamers. And it can get pretty competitive in this space for example bioshock was good too but it had weird storyline. But still those games were not bad for FPS. I'd say I'd choose most of them if I can in such case.

Game is definitely good and the way the game is climbing the revenue chart. I think this year the game can be a good choice for the gamers to engage into. Also the streamers are mostly streaming apexa legends and the division game this year. So I am kind of positive about the game.

Anthem is going pretty well in terms of revenue though. Not sure how that will fail in such case. I have noticed far cry new dawn to be having bad reviews but then again overall race of revenue, anthem is likely to go ahead with apex legends and metro exodus. Apart from days gone, there is resident evil 2 remake that has made some good money. And few more coming this April so we will see.

If you are into scrabble type games then you are going to love playing word domination. That game allows playing with the network players and you get to rank based on your performance. It can be pretty interesting to play those games based on the amount of time it takes for you to quickly come up with words and earn points. So here's the gameplay for you to get an idea on how this game works.

I am sure most of us have played Tetris and it is one of the good games out there. And these days there are variations of tetris with bejeweled, bubbles etc. And one such new bubble specific game is known as the dragon bubble. You can check out the gameplay below and decide if it's something you enjoy playing. I personally won't try this for long as it can be boring after some time.

There are few games that have capacity to keep you engaged into the gameplay. And some of those games are free as in free to play and have in app purchase options. Mobile legends also falls into that type of the category. The gameplay is not that bad and you can pretty much get engaged on the way that game works out. I can tell you that some times it can get pretty addictive as well. So here's one gameplay to see the new mobile legends.

I get a lot of ads about this game on android. And kind of realized that this is a hyper casual game. And it makes you want to solve some of such puzzles. If you have memory related problems then this type of the game can be pretty good to try out. And it's not that hard in some cases but some levels are kind of like blocker. So here is one gameplay which can give you idea about the game.

There are many android games that make use of the old arcade type of the graphics. And that sort of graphics can be pretty painful for the eyes. And it can make you not want to play the game on regular basis. And another is the modern 2D graphics that you can check out in case if you are into modern colors and the 3D like scenery. So those games are something you wish to play. Do you prefer the classic or the modern 2D graphics in android games?

I don't. If any game is not something I can finish at the most I can watch the gameplay on the youtube. And some of the time I can also ask some of my friends on how to complete this level. And if nothing works I just leave the game be and come back to it after some time and see if that works or just leave it be. By using the cheat code the game becomes boring.

I used to play sports games but I am kind of conflicted on those. And the reason being the sports games can be pretty bad in terms of the mood swings. I tend to avoid some of those competitive games these days. As they affect my blood pressure and I don't want to play anything that lifts my blood pressure. I do however prefer the puzzle and the mystery, FPS instead.

Yes I do share the games with some friends and siblings. I mean I also use their stuff so it is kind of mutual. And we are not going anywhere with it. So it is kind of okay to share your stuff with your known people. I mean that's how you get to socialize. We are not sharing passwords or so just lending the boxed games or giving console to play over weekends that is all.

I think so too. I think VR is definitely going to change the way gaming and other data is consumed. But for that to happen we need better VR glasses and also better and safe consumption option. As of now VR is yet to be matured. And that kind of makes you wonder if the VR is ready or just being typical 3D content streamer as of yet. So that is something we have to check out.

I think devil may cry 4 had disappointing ending. As in Nero and Dante just being friends and going their own ways with no new quest shown. Same can be said about "Return to castle wolfestein" and Bioshock and few other games. I think a lot of gaming companies had no idea on what they wanted to extend the new version with so they just made the boring end to make people not have hope.
-
You may want to try out the gameplay on youtube before downloading though. I thought it was cool so shared it here. Not sure if everyone here would be liking the game. So either way check out the gameplay see it for yourself.

I know supporting the game developers is necessary. And a lot of games can sustain only if the developers are making the money. And on that note I want to ask you if the ads are something F2P player should watch. I prefer to only watch ads of those games which I love playing. otherwise I turn on ad blocker. What do you think should android users watch ads? Do you watch ads?

For those who are interested in playing the Nintendo specific games on the Windows PC. Then you can check out the emulator named Dolphin. I can tell you from my experience that PC based emulators are a bit laggy but dolphins performance is not that bad. You can check out Dolphin emulator here: https://dolphin-emu.org/ Have you tried dolphin emulator games?

So for those who are not aware of the Emulators for PC. I am sure you can Google for this emulator and try out some of the supported games. https://www.libretro.com/index.php/home-2/ They seem to have some good ports like PS1, PS2, old Xbox and other arcade level ports. Recently was trying to get the emulator to work on the Windows. Have you tried some of the retroarch supported games?
